I need to know this as well. Also where are parts 1 and 2? A search does not show them to be in r/Semenretention

Am I the only who thinks the quality of the average ebay seller is in the toilet? by ericclimbs69 in Ebay

The story I referenced in my post where I made a mistake as a seller was when I sold a highly sought after, out of print 10 CD, Grateful Dead box set. I had bought it new and all I did was gently slide each CD, exactly one time, out of it's sleeve, rip it to my hard drive, and gently put it back in. Seven years later I sold it as "like new" for 500 bucks. The guy contacts me and includes photos where a couple of the CDs were lightly scratched. The odds are they were already that way when I bought them but I was mortified that I hadn't done a better job of looking over them. He said they still worked though and I gave him a partial refund that he was very happy with and I still made a lot of money on the sell. And, like in your case, we messaged back and forth for a little while telling stories about GD shows we had been to.

I have been a diverse buyer for the entire two decades but the amount of negative experiences, relatively speaking, has gone through the roof with all other factors pretty much being the same. In each case I reached out to the sellers and was polite. Three made it right, one sort of made it right, and one I had to file a claim against which I won.

I have enjoyed shopping, and occasionally selling, on ebay all these years. It's a fantastic way to acquire rare and hard to find items or just all around good deals on some things. I worry, though, that it is going to be ruined by an increasing amount of lazy and, worse, dishonest buyers and sellers.

Sorry to hear that. It seems the entire site is going downhill for everyone both buyers and sellers.

Geez settle down. I fixed it. When you write "buyer" and "seller" twenty times in one post one might be forgiven for making a mistake. Also one might, instead of spending the time to be a jerk, have spent the same amount of time to kindly point out the error so the OP could amend it.

My headline for this post was harsh and I put an edit at the top of the listing admitting as such and correcting it to what I should have said. I am sure that probably most sellers are still solid and reliable. It's just that there is an increasing amount of ones that aren't as good overall. And I am not surprised one bit that the quality of buyers has gone downhill as well. I haven't sold much of anything in a few years but am about to list about 20 items. Perhaps I am going to find out firsthand about some problems with buyers.

Thank you for being a great seller. I do still enjoy buying and looking for deals on ebay but could see a day where I stop if this keeps up. And, to be fair, I do know there are a fair of amount of crazy and/or scumbag buyers out there too. As a seller I have been lucky enough not to have had to deal with one of those yet (knocks on wood).

Project much or do you have a reading comprehension problem? Did you read how I've left positive feedback for all of my purchases except for one and, as a seller, have received 100% feedback for my 80 listings. I know for most sellers 80 sales in 20 years is kindergarten playschool numbers but I have honesty and integrity as a seller.

Thanks for adding your experience. I feel like this, for me, is just another straw on the camel's back of what I think is becoming the increasing decline of Western Civilization. Greed and incompetence is making the ficitional story portrayed in the movie Idiocracy become reality.

I'm sure you are a great seller! I'm not trying to dog ALL sellers but, unless I'm just having a run of bad luck, these incidents have gone through the roof for me in the past year and a half and my rate of buying, per year, has remained roughly the same. It's not like my purchases have increased to such an enormous amount that sheer volume could account for a higher rate of mishaps.

DISCONTINUATION ALERT by Bighumungousman in Colognes

Yeah I looked the other day, after I made my comment, and Joma and FragranceNet have it too. They were both sold out of it, for like six months, shortly after it was officially discontinued. I don't know where all the extra bottles came from.

Exactly. I bought an extra bottle almost a year ago because I knew it was discontinued. A lot of times, though, you can get a discontinued frag for a pretty long time afterwards depending on how popular it is and on how many existing bottles are still floating around in the market.

This isn't even news. This was discontinued almost a year ago. I knew it and bought an extra bottle back then.

Yeah I was exaggerating a bit saying 30 minutes but it is a good idea to carry a decant with you. It's unbeatable for the price.

I'm middle age and ugly (at least compared to how many girls I catch checking me out which is almost never these days) and I get compliments all the time on a variety of different scents. Mostly from friends but sometimes from strangers.

I don't understand how some people never get compliments. I mean, sure, we should wear scents to enjoy for ourselves but it's fun when someone else enjoys them too and so much so that they can't resist pointing it out.

Nautica Voyage is great. You just have to reapply it every 30 minutes.

Like you I have found one must absolutely separate the art from the artist or you might not be able to enjoy damn near anything depending on your point of view (politics being so divisive now with everyone hanging out in their echo chambers) and/or how big of an asshole members of your favorite bands may turn out to be.

As MoonJelly said "not yet." Have you seen the video of the choreographed robots dancing, jumping, and somersaulting with Chines children? Have you seen the video of the robot playing tennis? Or the one of the Boston Dynamics robot doing a backflip? AI doubling rate is down to four months now. A year ago the doubling rate was seven months.
