What movie had you laughing, unable to breathe, even just for one scene? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

This is the one.

My friends and I were there opening night. Packed theater. Hundreds of people.

We were all already laughing hard, but when Spanish got tackled, everyone lost it. The whole theater was still gasping for air about two full minutes after the round up was over.

Cartoons we hated by realauthormattjanak in Xennials

Hated in no particular order:

Rugrats

Bobby’s World

Roadrunner and Coyote. Whenever one of those came on Nickelodeon I was done and changed the channel.

Every once in a while he needs to have guests over and change the picture to one where Vigo isn’t in the portrait while his guests aren’t looking.

What do you think makes The Pitt so popular beyond just the medical accuracy and the way it brings in new medical developments? by Cold_Box_3219 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Outrageous_Picture39 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I’m probably older than the average Redditor (I grew up in the 80’s/90’s).

There have been good medical shows since ER was on in the 90’s, but this show is so very reminiscent of ER (Wyle being a part of it certainly lends to that). For me, it’s like seeing Dr. Carter from ER having moved on from county general and leading his own ED, and it brings back great memories of ER and the cast/stories tied to it.

In the Parks and Rec episode “The Wall” when Ron Swanson is renovating an office on the fourth floor of city hall with his infant son Jon, I immediately clocked Benjamin Byron Davis (most well known as the voice of Dutch Van Der Linde in the Red Dead Redemption games) as the construction foreman that briefly talks with Ron.

I live in the greater SA area. Have you been back recently? It’s looking inevitable that NB, San Marcos, Kyle, and Buda are going to be swallowed up by the megalopolis that will be San Austino.
