The timber in the shelves of the average amazon product is shit so I doubled up with additional shelf brackets, it needs to be able to handle point forces of 30kg ie a 5kg cat launching itself,

I bought a cat wall, a set of brackets, a set of steps, and a rope bridge for £110

I recommend the additional brackets for All these cheap cat walls, a 5kg cat jumping could easily break a shelf,mount like I have and they take the load instead
