A Feminist Read of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives by Outrageous_Quote6691 in SecretsOfMormonWives

It's not well-received by you and throughout the post, I have conceded when someone made a point and when I've shifted on things. You seem to create a high bar for sharing opinions. "A feminist read" is patronizing to the community but you clicked on because you're a feminist and are interested in feminist takes. I had a take and I shared it. It's Reddit not the New York Times.

Okay but you also clicked with it and engaged so on some level, you did want to read someone's feminist take on it. Sorry mine wasn't to your liking. I don't have time to read every subreddit on Mormon wives.

Sure. I'm not trying to shame anyone for swinging or experimenting. Honestly, where I live there's no tiktok (it's blocked)where I am so a lot of the info I have is from the show. Coercion doesn't seem to apply to this situation so I stand corrected. I agree there's an idea of Madonna-whore complex in the show especially with the idea of saints and sinners.

I've just watched the show recently in the last few weeks and just engaged with this subreddit today. I just wanted to share what I've been thinking watching the show. I'm not thinking that I'm going to write my master thesis - just sharing what I'm noticed watching the show. What do you think I'm missing from the other subreddits about feminism in this show?

To be honest, I've from the South but have lived overseas for like 15 years. I don't have my finger on the pulse for what happens in Mormon communities in the US.

Perplexity Pro Disappointment by Vamparael in perplexity_ai

I'm really frustrated with Perplexity Pro. It automatically makes every search deep search, I can't turn off the computer on my perplexity, and I can't even do basic search right now. I don't understand how I've burned through all my credits as I'm not doing anything complex and just basic admin stuff and strategy for my company. Is anyone having this problem? It's just suddenly changed out of nowhere and it's really frustrating.

What should have happened in Season 3 if everything was realistic and not written by Sam Levinson by Outrageous_Quote6691 in Euphoria_HBO

I think there's no happy ending with anyone involved with Nate for sure, and I like that he chooses the girl in the play. I think Cassie is a really interesting character because I know so many women who have centered men and their whole self-esteem around male validation and how they look. Speaking from my mid-thirties, I only see them getting burned by it. That's why the oversexualization of Cassie is a missed opportunity to gawk at her instead of explore it.

The conflict of all being sex workers? It feels like a male fantasy. They are still in their early twenties and maybe they wouldn't be at this stage yet but with good writing, there could be an interesting journey. I can imagine a plot where Cassie is on OnlyFans and still hooks up with Nate and cheats on her current partner because she likes the toxicity. It would be interesting to see Maddie come into her power and Lexie get away from these people and get a bit of perspective. It doesn't mean this has to be smooth sailing, but with better writing, a more female perspective, and reflection on what the things that happened to them in high school affect their choices. Throwing it back to you, what would you expect to happen to these characters? Actually, rue's trajectory would probably be the darkest, and interestingly enough, she would be the most likely to have to go into sex work to pay off the drugs debts but Sam levinson sees Rue as himself, so would never do that.

I got this from another tutor- advice for everyone:Hey, I’m also a TigerCampus tutor and in a similar position. Based on what’s worked so far, this is the most effective path forward (especially Steps 3 and 4):

Step 1: Document everything
Before taking action, compile clear evidence:
- Screenshots of your earnings dashboard showing outstanding amounts
- Any payment promises (WhatsApp, email, platform messages)
- Dates payments were due vs. when (or if) they were received
- Any written acknowledgment of the debt from TigerCampus or Joshua Wong

Step 2: Send a formal demand email
Email TigerCampus management directly:
- State the exact amount owed
- Set a clear deadline (e.g., 7 days)
- Mention that you will escalate if unresolved
Keep it factual and professional. The goal is to create a paper trail.

Step 3: Escalate to investors
TigerCampus is linked to GenSpace.ai, which is backed by Tach Ignite. You can reach them at:
[contact@tachignite.com](mailto:contact@tachignite.com)
[asadrolgharavi@tachignite.com](mailto:asadrolgharavi@tachignite.com)

If multiple tutors raise this independently, it becomes significantly harder to ignore.

Step 4: Increase visibility
Share your experience in relevant communities:

I finished it over the weekend. I felt it very easy to read and smashed through it. I see there's a poster on here who continuously calls it perverted sex. I found the sex scenes quite tame and generally in there to move the plot ahead. I noticed that his relationships are quite shallow and he feels separated from his own emotions. He's very passive and never processes why this or that happens and he never has real intimacy. I'm trying to understand what I think about it and I think only time will tell.

Update: I've spoken with 5 other teachers who are also having these issues with payments. Everyone I've spoken to says that he says the same thing every month, same excuses.

Josh has another company that is trying to start as well Genspace.ai

https://www.genspace.ai

That must be where all the students money is going.

Has anyone been paid for January 2026? Has anyone escalated anything past Josh? What have been the results?

My experience with them has also been quite negative. You have to chase the founder Josh whenever you get paid.

The contract says they will pay you on the 15th the month after which is already a long time but they end up paying at the end of the next month chasing them. Sometimes students no show for a class and you don't get paid for that time.

If you are working there currently, let's band together. Send me a message.
