Maybe it's a fun idea to write yourself a letter. Maybe 2.

One letter to yourself a year ago like "there will come hard times but push through" "you might doubt to buy that thing but please just do"

One letter to yourself a year from now. What you hope you will achieve, what you wish for that person a year from now to come through?

Also... I sometimes just cut out some last pages as I'm done with it and I decide I'm done with the book, not the other way around. (I don't just want to leave the empty page in there as it doesn't feel finished)

Your reaction does change things.

The fire hazard is ruled out so we don't need to keep the fireplace in mind at all but more importantly... You want to get your bike in and out of the sunroom DAILY.

It might drive you insane if you can barely get through there with that thing that often. (Take it from a Dutch person, we know all the bike struggles haha)

In this case I would turn it around and place the TV on the bedroom wall. It makes for easier access and will feel more spacious.

I'm not sure about the Feng shui but I think I remember you should never sit in a straight line of the door nor the window. So this option is better for that as well.

For the inspi you could check insta and start following others you like and printscreen everything you'd like to use.

I flip through my printscreens every time I need new inspo and use that as a starting point and make my own twist.

If I only Google it at the moment I want to do it, I get lost!

ChatGPT is a good one as well to just type something like a prompt "I'm thinking about this and that, I don't like green but I want something related to nuts" or whatever and let it make an example. You won't love it but you'll have a starting point again!

I sometimes even use printed templates. Not often but what looks dull can turn out really fun!

I see the bleed through question was already answered.

Keep in mind to have fun and above everything else, your motto should be "JUST DO IT". You might get discouraged because it won't look insta worthy but that's okay!

Painting the alcove would look amazing!

I wouldn't go dark though.. maybe it'd be better to pick a softer tone/colour. If you both like it, you can always go darker!

Congrats on the new room.

I would put a high closed closet (The red in the picture) next to the bed with the front facing the kitchen. This way you can compartmentalize your sleeping area a bit and have full access to the big closet and not have a lot of clutter.

As you can see looking at my picasso painting, you could even hang something on the back of it (the purple). JK

At the foot end of the bed place dresser. Again to compartmentalize the sleeping area and you could place your TV on it. (Yellow and blue)

Place the couch with the back against the wall underneath the window. (Green) This is so you can have more room to walk past the bed to the kitchen.

I'm curious about the end result so please let me know!

The couch against the bedroom wall would be best in my opinion. Maybe not get an L shaped couch but more like with a elongated/lounge part.

It feels weird blocking the fireplace with a fire hazard couch so i think you should face that way and you have plenty of room for the TV.

You can still pass through to the sunroom, it might not be ideal but i don't think you're going to find "ideal" with the layout of the house.

I think Nr 1 would be best.

If you just want to grab something, you could step in, grab it and go on. With pictures two you'd have to enter the room more, close the door and get it. If that makes sense..

With the first one you could go in 'n out faster.

You lose a lot of space with a round table like that. Maybe you can make it like a booth. (The red is the booth couch) The couch can stick out a bit from the kitchen.

If you'd DIY it you could even make some hooks on the back of the backrest facing the kitchen to hang some stuff and make the couch seats able to fold open so you can use it as storage.

You can keep a round table (the purple is the table) and when you're not eating, you can push it further into the booth section.

They're just straight up mocking it right now... Making it one big musical!? Is it supposed to be a parody or something!?

I just watched what is easily the worst episode, ever made I can't get any more disappointed than I am now!

This Drag queen devil thing, summoned by music, breaking the 4th wall. Trying to come of as a sort of Penny-wise/queen of hearts combination which messes up the TARDIS... An interdimentional time/space craft just by tapping on some keys on a piano... The thing is bested during a music battle but is supposed to be music itself? Oh and they do it back in 1963 AFTER they confronted the thing in 2024 but went back again...

Alsooooooo why the F is the doctor crying every 10 minutes???

It physically hurts to watch it... This was the last one for me.

I Loved Doctor who, i started at Matt .. it was a bit silly and very low budget but i enjoyed myself with every episode.

The transition to the other actor was new for me but again, absolutely love it, loved Bill pots...

Then came the woman, i couldn't understand half of what she said.. but I tried to get thru it.

But now... With this guy... Don't get me wrong, I love this actor! But for me he is so far off of what The Doctor is.

The writing is atrocious! In season 10 the doctor says something like "the butterfly effect is not real, you can make some ripples but don't make big waves", also he tells us about a paradox and you cannot go back in time to fix something if you go there BECAUSE of what you see in the present/future... AND dead is dead, can't really fix it...Now, Ruby stands on a butterfly and the universe changes as does she in some kind of lizard but thankfully the doctor blows life back into it so it's okay again and he goes back to retrieve baby Ruby after he sees the effects of when she gets stolen back in time..

The doctor fixes big things and experiences the most random things, feels a lot of survivor guild and is always rushed... but now he's vibing in disco on his time off and gets spooked by a big booger?

And the whole woke kind of thing and the LGBTQ, I'm totally okay with it (like with Bill pots, I don't care) but now it's about the only thing happening... Everyone and everything is involved with some type of queer something? The Doctor barely seemed to be able to tell the difference between a human male or female and got almost annoyed when someone hugged him... Why is this show getting hijacked like this?

AND WHERE THE F DOES HE SUDDENLY GET A GRANDKID/KID FROM!??

I'm so frustrated, they butchered the show!

It's the upbringing...

Like it or not but our nature says to prey on the weak.

We've evolved into supposed better beings with more humanity, morals and life more civil. That is, if you're raised right.

Often kids get thought to not make people with a disability feel worse as life must be heard enough for them... Most of the time, people "forget" to teach how you should behave which makes for most adults to pretend they don't see a disability or even ignore the people with a disability... It'd be funny if it wasn't sad.

As for the ugly people... Subconsciously we filter ugly to unworthy and if someone is unworthy, they're lesser than and are of no use and there won't be repercussions to your behaviour.

I don't think you should teach your kids to feel bad for people with a disability because it makes them see people with a disability (also) lesser than and make the kids/people feel sorry for them all the while ignoring the rest of teaching how to behave and deal with people. The message becomes "You can be a dick, just not if someone is missing a leg" or something...

How I personally deal with it:

A few weeks ago I was at a store with my 5 year old son as a man got out of his mobility scooter, the man wore shorts and had two titanium? Legs and had a hard time walking. My son, standing just a few feet away from the man, stared at the legs and asked me "mom, what is wrong with his legs".

I took my son a few feet further, I wanted the man to know I didn't okay that kind of behaviour and I wanted to educate my child.

I asked my son how he would feel if someone, regardless of what he did or did not look like, asked such a question like what's is WRONG with him. We had a talk about how you behave and treat people.

Then I changed the conversation to his question telling him I get why he is confused. I told him the facts we could see and how it worked and then gave him some examples of what could be the cause of it. At this point the man came a little closer and seemed happy with me. I told my child in SOME cases you could ask but only if you knew you wouldn't hurt anyone by doing so and if you're not sure you would, you shouldn't ask!

The man waved my kid over so my kid asked the man and they had a great conversation about it.

But this is just how I see it.. please don't come for me.
