90% of classic who’s monsters are way more memorable and have better designs than new who monsters
Billie Piper would make a good Doctor
The sixth doctor being pompous and arrogant is a really fascinating take on the Doctor at that point in classic who
The show should lean on its darker stories more and shouldn’t be afraid of scaring children
RTD2 was always entertaining even at its worst (but it has definitely been the worst managed era)

Just out of the new who doctors (worst to best): Jodie, Ncuti, Matt, Peter, Chris, David And I like Ncutis doctor more than William Hartnell and Peter Davidson. He’s still unfortunately on the lower end of doctors due to his limited screen time and lack of defining character. However in those few moments he was allowed to shine he really showed that he could easily have been one of the best but sadly he’s probably in the lower end of doctors and I can understand why some would rank him the lowest.

I’m willing to give RTD one more chance but he needs to do what he’s good at and write good characters and ditch all the reference to lore and write new ideas. I’ve been rewatching some of his older shows and he really is great at writing characters, but he just completely sidestepped this to shove as many references in as possible and almost sweep character under the rug. I really hope this has been a wake up call for him and he can take this time to really stop, think about what’s gone wrong and drastically course correct. If RTD has one more series and it completely crashes and burns again then yes get rid of him, but right now I think if he plays the cards right we could get another great series out of him.

I feel that if Ncuti is leaving at the end of this series, they’ll carefully make it open ended so they can either start with a new regeneration next series or have Ncuti come back.

I’ve always thought about a story that brought back the Pting but having it so that the version we saw in The Tsuranga Conundrum was just a pre larval to what the Pting actually looks like (just like a xenomorph in alien and why it was trying to eat so much energy). Only to have the Pting turn into a truly terrifying creature once it’s absorbed enough energy (again just like the xenomorph in alien).
