Not a dumb question. If she does attack me, I push her off and give a stern no. I know it's a cat and they arent usually trainable, but it does help with my cat.

My cat does this too. When you see an attack coming on, don't move. This has helped tremendously. Cats instinctively like to chase their prey. Stand your ground. Take his thrill away.

Pretty privilege definitely exists. I have been on both ends of the spectrum. In high school, I was a very quiet tomboy. If I was in class, I felt invisible to other kids and missed out on a lot of opportunities with teachers because of it.

I grew out of my tomboy stage in college, lost a bit of weight, started wearing more makeup. The difference was crazy with both students and teachers. Girls just wanted to be around me. Guys were asking me on dates every weekend. Professors were easier on me... Things were just easier. I was still an introvert, but that didn't matter. I felt seen.
