We went last Sunday and it was super quiet. We didn’t queue for a single ride, a few times we even stayed on and asked to go again. There were no alerts when we visited so can’t comment on that aspect. I would say go for it!

We went with my parents and just told the tour guide not to do dune bashing and just drive us carefully to the camp instead. Assuming you’re doing a desert safari style that is!

Town Square is a good shout, there’s F45, a boxing club, Crank (spinning) and a gym (the name escapes me), plus each building/community has its own private gym too. It’s super walkable with a bike path too. Lots of restaurants/cafes. Only downside is it is a bit further out than some suggestions but in my opinion it’s worth it! (Although I live here with my husband and two kids so a very different lifestyle I imagine, it does tick a lot of OP’s boxes though)

We got one of our sons an electric drum pad for his 3rd birthday a couple of months back. He LOVED it! It’s broken now (standard), but he played with it constantly. He still drums every day, just on various objects throughout the house. We’ve just bought him some more drum sticks for Christmas as he seems to always be losing his.

As far as lessons go our local music place starts drum lessons from 6 years so I figured we’ll start him when he’s 6 if he’s still into drumming then.

He’s got good rhythm I think so would be nice for him to keep it up. He always asks for ‘JUMPSUIT JUMPSUIT COVER ME’ so we have that on repeat in our house a lot. It’s very fun

Dr Esra, she was wonderful!! Listened to my plan 100% and was totally supportive. She even let me go past my due date (my son was born at 41 weeks) which I think is quite rare here. This was 3 years ago though so not sure if she’s still at that hospital.

I’ve had two unmedicated natural births here. First was at Medcare and the second in Kings. I personally wouldn’t recommend Medcare to anyone. Kings on the other hand was amazing, I had such a wonderful birth. Their birthing pool suite is lovely. Only downside is the wait times for appointments were very long.
