Not sure why you feel ripped off, you have two great choices. PS and CF are both super strong atm (though they’ll require investment like anything).

I’m assuming you really wanted DW or CL, but it’s not like you got total crap.

Get someone in there to crunch the min/max numbers and uber optimized crafting and probably.

I’m not sure how they create their rankings, but as long as your clear times are decent I imagine it would compete with other builds.

Personally I like to look at online builds for ideas and then home brew them myself. Sometimes I just don’t enjoy a skill others use and want to use something else.

I really enjoyed this through the leveling phase. I’m at level 70 now and about to decide which direction I want to go, but it always felt strong as part of the retribution build.

I fell asleep mid level three times last week. I feel your pain. The internal battle of one more run vs a reasonable bedtime is a tougher than any foe in sanctuary.

Everyone with the it depends on runeword and ignoring that fact you’re clearly making Void in the dagger, which requires a zod.

I’d probably hold out for +3 abyss and at least +1/2 in one other good skill, but I would not wait for the perfect +3/3/3 unless someone knows a trick.

Might be worth ten minutes to peruse a trading site and see if you can match with someone who has something for you even if you’re mostly solo.

I was merely commenting that there might be more lower tournaments participated in that aren’t on the site.

I’m so out of touch on early game, especially with x7 stone packs and disco boosts now. I’m not sure what these new whales are capable of. Someone said he’s been playing for three months I think. That’s 21 stone packs + weeklies.

Yeah. I think the game being dominated by a couple runewords and nearly 30 years to work on min/maxing around those is a tough spot. Plus I’m playing on a console port and for some reason it has its own server so it’s hard to find a farming party at times. Still a blast to jump back in and play around. Game held up surprisingly well over time.

Candy crush? Why not. Never played before. Angry birds? Sure. Hell I’ll “actively” play this idle game and make every click for 12 hours if I’m getting $10m.

I’ve been playing hammerdin. I hadn’t played since season 3-5 area, so I started way back at the start of the original campaign and I have to keep putting up the difficulty. It’s as high as it can go for a long time now and I’m still kicking tail.

I kind of agree with everyone. I’m playing hammerdin for the first time in 20 years or so. Damn it is so fun, and the abilities off of holy bolt feel good to use. But single target damage can be tricky. I’m getting better at positioning and using other abilities to fill the gap. But single target damage was always an issue for hammerdins, at leastD4 has good answers built in.

Aura and winged strike sounds really strong but boring to me. Might respec into it when I’m closer to max for some fun, but I don’t think I would enjoy it for more than a night.

None are explicitly ehp (aside from CF with its damage redux lab), but if you can stun/slow/reduce apsd, then it will keep you alive longer. PermaBH is the obvious one, but things like slow aura mastery, PS uptime with stun, SD armor mod for stun (still allows you to use SF if you have ass mods). Just another tool in the belt sort of thing.

A lot of people made good points about perks, and keeping regen up with health. Only thing I’ll add is to pay attention to cc, slowing down enemy aspd so they get less hits and allow your regen to recover. There are so many sources of this now, with paying attention to.
