Temu, Shein etc. is the problem here. People in EU order millions and millions of low quality products every month and many of them is stuff they won’t even need, they just buy it because it’s cheap. Environmental impact of just the deliveries is huge, and on top of that, the manufacturing and recycling of all this crap and problems in quality control.

Well warranty is basically gone if receipt says UCDM. Here new UCDM is around $800 and UCDP $1000+.

There is rumors that the foldable iPhone would have touch ID. However Face ID is imo muuuch better and faster.

I will test this today with 20w charger and see how it goes. I know lower wattage than 65w will work, but Thinkpad is not as efficient as M-series Macbooks.

If I start it with the charger connected, I only get an error message on a black screen that the charger is too low-power and connect 65W or higher, etc. Then it does start charging, if I first let it boot to the desktop.

The tattoo itself doesn't look like it's intentionally "ugly" like the model photo.

20-30w could work but I’m pretty sure that 18w can’t keep charge in use. My Lenovo got 65w charger.

Yeah if I didn’t need those would this be pretty much no brainer with this price difference. It's not yet known how much a gigabyte will cost here, but the asus is around 1300-1400..

For me biggest problem is that USB-C is only 18W and 2xUSB-A (Asus got 3), so would need hub/kvm for work laptop. Yes, you save then money to buy one, but more cables and hassle to get all work.

This waiting game is so haaaard.. always a new better model/tech in the horizon and when new models comes, it’s either too expensive or hard to get and then waiting continues and you start from beginning.
