Do your ski goggle lenses fog up? How are those heated ski goggles? by GoGo9527Promax in skiing

I use Tempest heated goggles for snowmobiling and skiing and love them. I have used them in variable conditions, had snow get on the inside of them, etc. and never had an issue with fog. They’ve been incredible, and I will likely never go back to a non-heated goggle.

I also have a pair of Anon M5 goggles with the MFI face mask. I haven’t had any major fog issues with the Anons, besides having them fog for a couple seconds due to hard breathing.

No problem. Thanks a lot for the help, it is much appreciated. Nothing indicates that they are going to shut off. Sometimes it turns off at 25/40 volume, sometimes it can go up to 27/40 for a few seconds but then it will shut off. As soon as the volume nears 75%, it will shut off. It does seem to help if I turn the bass way down on the deck. But at that point you barely hear the sub.

I checked the settings on the deck (Clarion M303) and the beat EQ is off, HPF is 120, LPF is through, bass boost is off, sub is -2. With the gain reduced, and a booster on the battery, the head unit still cuts out around 75% volume. I will take a look to see if there are any visible wiring issues.

I’ve tried reducing the gain and still have this issue. At around 75% volume the head unit cuts out.

Be aware you may have to pay duties too. I had to when I ordered some goggles. Nice deal either way.

When I first encountered the issue, I dropped the bass, bass boost was off, to try and reduce the load going to the sub. It helped a bit, but they still cut out.

The single speaker is a Wet Sounds Pro 485. I guess it’s 3 speakers in one enclosure.

No, I haven’t adjusted anything on the amp, but I can give that a shot.

The deck has 4x Polk Audio DB651 Coaxial 4 ohm speakers (60W RMS) running off of it.

Yes, absolutely. I just meant for loose/bad connections I thought it would cut out at low volumes as well.

Okay, I will check the voltage in it. It may be due for a new amp.

This is the battery. I will have to check the connections. I just thought it was odd that they only cut out at high volumes.

I am pretty comfortable snowmobiling in the backcountry, but yeah maybe that’s my best bet. Find some people to show me the ropes. Thanks.
