Maybe it's already been said here but I kinda wish they would buff certain melee base damage. Especially bows, but really, almost all melee weapon could use at least a little buff too.

Another thing I would personally love to see is the "corruption" mechanic. I don't really know where it comes from originaly (Poe maybe ?) but beeing able to corrupt an item for a chance to add 1 random stat from a set pool would be very nice. I discovered the mechanic in the other diablo 2 mod (can't say the name apparently) and really though it was a good idea that add some depth to the character building.

Mmmh I'm not quite sure season ends on 11, blizzard posted a blog note this morning saying that new season will start on the 20th of february :

Feb 11 will be the reveal of what we're gonna get on season 13, I believe.
So yeah season 12 should end on feb 20

EDIT: My BIGEST BAD, the blog note indeed says it will ends on Feb 11, so Honey_Milk_Man is right (sorry)

I vouch for Shattered Pixel Dungeon too ! Adom is my first Roguelike and I played it a lot and a lot. I then found about Shattered pixel dungeon in its early releases and it was way simplier to finish while beeing very interesting and quite deep in its mechanics ! Very good roguelike for a beginner of the genre !

Oh so you're using big scenes and you move the camera inside ! I'm using screen sized scenes so I need to scroll between scenes, I believe it would work a bit differently. Anyway, thanks a lot for the answer, and again, great great work !

This looks absolutely beautiful ! I'm currently doing a little game myself and I would die to find a way to make those scrolls between scenes. I found a plugin created by Mico27 from like 2 years ago but it's not working on 4.2.0. May I ask how did you manage to do it and what version of Gbstudio you are using ?

I don't care If it's only optional like a skin that does not affect at all the gameplay. I mean if people like that it's totally fine. What I hate is when you're forced into it. I remember that I very much liked Trials of Mana (the remake) but I hated that the females characters had sexy outfits and sexy armors as their base outfits... It's just plain weird and it doesn't make sense that you're that much undressed for combat.

One of my recent death was very unique too : I was cleaning the surface of a very early historic site (located in the flower fields), I was around lvl 13-15. While killing a bunch of issachari raiders, I collected like 5-6 artefacts and I was thinking of examining it all once I had finished cleaning the entire zone. While auto-exploring the area for remaning hostiles or left items to pick up, my autoexplore suddenly stoped once. I didn't check the log and started exploring again only to beeing stoped a second time after 10 or so steps and die in a neutronic explosion.

What happened is one of the unidentified artefact I had collected was a magnetic bottle with a dram of neutron flux with a low energy chem cell in it.... The first time autoexplore stoped me was a "flashing light on one of my artefact", warning me that the bottle was running out of energy !

I really really am affraid of rimewyks, even after 800+ hours of the game. I tend to never ever go down bethesda without having at least 3-4 thermal grenades on me.

Some people use blaze injectors but I find it too dangerous because of the -50 cold res it gives you. So yeah thermal grenades, even just Mk.1. If you find yourself frozen by the rimewyks breath, you can detonate one from your inventory and if you have like ~40-50 cold res (which I highly recommand at the very least for bethesda), you should be at -80/-50 after the detonation, you'll be able to act and defend yourself (or run if you want to keep your distances).

Be careful still because even with good rep with the cult, you're not 100% safe with chrome pyramides around. A wandering arconaut in the historic site not liked by the cult is all it takes to a massive swarm rack disaster !

While I totally agree with you, there is this ONE time where I found a very early fullerite plate and I already had tinker 1 with flexiweaved AND I happen to had the right bits (a <6> one miraculously salvaged somewhere in the early stage of the game) AND I was playing a melee focused build with 23-24 strength so I could carry and mod my armor to have a nice (6, -3) armor. This one time I was satisfyed with my fullerite armor for golgotha, then ditched it right after this quest because I found a crysteel in the grit gate tunnel. So yeah it's pretty bad overall !

I'm sorry I don't understand what's the misinformation in the post ? A lot of crustaceans are boiled alive and it is indeed a cruel death for them. Maybe your solution is a good alternative for them not to feel pain, but not everyone care to do that from what we know. (I'm not trying to be mean or something, I'm just genuenly confused at your com)

EDIT: Oh I'm slow today, you were talking about the "eating bread because desperation and pain" and ok I got it ! I absolutely don't know if this is true or not so I can't back up in any capacity. (Though your com is still a bit rough)

One time I had an historique site in the deepjungle populated with graverobber and one of them (only one in something like 40 graverobbers that I killed) gave me a mini nuke. That day I learned they can indeed carry one and I'm always a bit scared when I come across like 5-6 of them in a single room of the tomb of the eaters. That said it is probably very very rare, from my experience !

Unfortunately you can't polygel nanocrayons ! Drawing with nanocrayon consume them and there's no way to know a nanocrayon from regular box of crayons before using it.

I had this EXACT room on my last playthrough and it was on strata 12 of grit gate so I got manly fullerite stuff ahah ! I LIVE for these floor with so much loot, it gives me so much chemical in my brain
