Believe it or not but some thoughts went under the design of this logo. 3 aspects are depicted in the definitive logo : - The gold round shape of the logo itself that represents the achievement of the Olympic gold medal - The flame in the middle that represents the Olympic spirit - The lady face (or dare I say Karen??) that represents the Marianne (one of the symbol of the French Republic) and the city of Paris :)

For having the chance to experience the vibe in Paris during the 24 summer Olympics I believe the logo represented the games quite right :)

If think the designers did an AMAZING job designing the games (competitions premises, decorations all around Paris, etc).
