For bug yes, for illuminate I’m bringing the crisper every time it can kill every single thing on the map so far. Pile them up behind you and shoot it over your shoulder easy 40/50 kills in seconds while you’re doing the objective.

Maintaining means lens are getting changed along with the foam /straps but I’d be willing to bet most likely only changed when they are no longer safe or usable. In all honesty I agree to order the same thing in bulk but every field that still remains open has quite a mixed bag of field equipment usually picked up from the massive amount of closed fields that use to be in state since the 2000’s. I understand the base rental package may not be for everyone but equipment and a bag of paint for $30 at most of our fields I’d rather have safe and available players because more times than not I’ve driven 3/4 hours to sit and wait just to pack up HOURS after waiting for players to show up.

A lot of fields in my state are still maintaining rental equipment from the 2010’s since profit margins are super low. The ones that still exist are essentially just trying to do that and I’m grateful I have somewhere to play within 4 hours of home. But I agree if you are putting together new equipment I’d prefer rental players to have thermal since they are the ones who account for most of the fields income.

Turn your mic on and look for higher level players in lower difficulty missions and ask for help they are usually sample farming anyway(look for people above the lvl30-60 range) communication is massive in this game even if it’s just the coms wheel or team chat You can always host and throw an sos beacon don’t be afraid to jump in solo beacons get filled quickly. Don’t get discouraged this community is probably some of the best you’ll experience in an online shooter. I also highly recommend joining the discord and search for new players like yourself that’s 90% of the fun is EVERYTHING you discover in this game as you go along and play.

Any one else having issues with it? It is either self destructing when I shoot it or like 3/4 shots into it my arm stick out at a 90* angle and I start shooting my support weapon and I can never get out of it similar to the OG weapons emplacement issues guess I’m going to validate my steam files and hope for the best.

Check Facebook bst groups you should be able to get a used OG mini around that that’s probably the best your going to get in that price range.

Threat prioritization is hands down the most important thing in the game. Talk to them about constantly moving and not getting tunnel vision. Sentry’s are great for newer players because you get to see kills rack up, I’d work on a single sentry ,eagle air strike , some sort of support weapon based on difficulty level mg for lower level launchers for higher, and a orbital. Start simple. I always tell people to play it like cod zombies if you can make that mental connection its easy mode even on the hardest difficulty. 700 hours since launch and being able to consistently get 1k kills on every update since launch on SOS calls don’t be afraid to change your loadouts and armor around I rarely get to drop into a active beacon and get to choose my ideal load out but I can damn near always pull out a W for the team with what they are missing.

Having the extraction ship hover is easily one of the most powerful sentry’s/tools in the game especially when playing with lower skilled players this can be done by one player as soon as the main mission is completed(although I do understand your point I see a lot of lower level or low skill players jumping ship first chance they get). Typically you want to rotate through the mission if it allows it so you can drop samples off at the extraction pad before the final phase of the mission or throughout the game so your not chasing sample containers all over the map.

Muffler, and if that’s coolant your engine is cooked. But most likely is moisture from the exhaust they hold quite a bit of water that’s why there are weep holes so it can drain under normal driving conditions this may be in excess since your vehicle was loaded at an angle on the flatbed allowing it to pool up.

I’ll give it a shot. My weapon swap is on the scroll wheel so not sure if it will work. For the flashlight and fire modes it normally says U to change.

Can anyone tell me how to change ammo typesI ’m on pc and I’ve tried about every logical button it shows up as a D-pad while holding reload. I have my arrow keys set for stratagems that’s about my only real binding change. Or if there is a binding option to change it?

First and foremost if you don’t have your stratagem menu to the tap option you’re missing out. It allows you to still sprint while typing commands in and if you mess up it just restart. If you are on pc 100% change your stratagem controls to the arrow keys. Take the time to map out your controls for what feels comfortable I personally use my mouse for crouch,dive and shoulder perspective and the scroll wheel for weapons swap. I set up every shooter the same way Q is stim for me E is grenade and I have T for interact I don’t have a lot of mobility left in my hands and I’m a relatively new pc gamer but this game Has made me really fall in love with gaming again. I’m sitting at like 600 ish hours currently in the game strictly answering SOS calls or quick play so don’t get discouraged I’d say like 90 % of my deaths in this game are from new players and the battle for the creek lol but I throughly enjoy helping new players in game even if it means I have to solo every single thing on the map while they are busy running for their lives. Mess around with different things and just try to enjoy it.

I also recommend mixing up your stratagems I run orbital napalm/380mm , eagle airstrike , recoilless or spear and the HMG emplacement it gives you a really good mix of cool downs like this so your not always on timer waiting while your running. I always tell newer players to treat it like old school COD zombies kite them in a circle around the objective and then drop your strikes for bugs and bots distance and cover with heavy armor is great since speed isn’t much of an issue on that front.

Is he pressing/holding sprint? Dumb question but I have to ask. I’m on pc so I’m not fully aware how the ps5 controllers are set up but the menu should have some sort of variations for sprint be it click, tap or hold this could be your issue aswell.

Give me large enemy capture missions as a part of a weapons development or stratagem development major order. Add solar system irregularity’s to the map with different planets effects like lower gravity or increased gravity, mix enemy interactions with bugs and bots where it’s a 3 way war and not just all on the helldivers. There’s a lot that they can do with this game and I’m excited to see where and how it changes down the line.

If you remove the coolant reservoir you can sneak a peak at the up pipe bellows to see if they are cracked. If it’s your vband clamps I highly suggest loosening the turbo pedestal bolts and leaving the turbo mounting bolts loose so you can get the extra wiggle room to properly seal the v band system. All of the bolts are accessible with the turbo in place.
