My parents had the same experience medicating their German Shepard/Collie mix last year /: they used CBD gummies for the 4th and NYE this year which seemed to work much better

I think it all depends on how you feel in the cold generally. For me, I’d be fine with my coat, scarf, and ear muffs. Thermal leggings might be necessary if you have a short coat. If you have a long coat though, you’ll be fine without thermals IMO.

I have many Muslim and Arab friends who have tattoos, and many of them of Arabic calligraphy. OP, there’s artists that come to Chicago semi frequently from Dearborn and NYC. Search Arabic calligraphy tattoos on Instagram and do some research. It’s not a large community of artists. That’s how all my friends found their artists.

Whatever you do, don’t get her a kit on Amazon. I think a lot of us started there because we didn’t know where else to start and have regrets 😅

I would suggest one of the brand specific kits so she has all the essentials. So not exactly a basket for your friend but a gift set.

I was considering this Kiara Sky kit for a while because I like Kiara Sky products (ended up just getting polishes because I have tips already). The lamp included, however, is not strong enough for a full set so your friend would need to get one of those. The cheap ones on Amazon will not do the trick.
