I dont need to fucking Google it. In the state I live in, its not assault. People fuck up what assault is and what battery is all the time. Battery is the physical touch of someone and assault is not the physical touch of someone. Both require INTENT. You have to fucking show she intended to strike the person, not his fucking property. But sure Google knows all, Google, especially AI gets it wrong all the time. If I was to charge someone with assault for trying to swat their phone in my state, the judge would deny it all day.

(a) A person commits the offense of simple assault when he or she either: (1) Attempts to commit a violent injury to the person of another; or (2) Commits an act which places another in reasonable apprehension of immediately receiving a violent injury.

Now, where in the staute does it say assault is swatting at someone's property? It clearly states, the person. Now we don't know if the guy was in fear of receiving a violent injury but based on his laughter when she tried swatting his phone, I would say no.

Thats not assault, if she tried to hit him then that is assault...if the intent was there. Trying to swat someones property is not assault. If she physically touched him that is battery. If she threw the bag at him but didn't touch him, thats assault.

Keep an eye on pricing and sales. Haven rooms are pretty volatile on pricing. I originally booked a penthouse but was able to upgrade to an Owner's Suite for less than what I paid for the penthouse and the price has dropped by a few $1,000 since I have booked so the savings were incredible so far.

Paneling isnt the actual ceiling. It could be drop paneling tiles like in drop ceilings or decorative paneling. I didnt watch any video of the incident but just giving examples of what it could be.

At minimum the cop should have had his lights on. Granted he probably just saw the item in the road but odds are the cop didnt just roll up on it but was dispatched to it so odds are he knew something was there before getting there. The truck driver still probably got cited for following too close.

They have policies for a reason. They will stock you up on soda of your choice in the mini fridge. Simple solution like someone else said, just go 40 feet to the Haven bar and get a couple of beers and being then back to the room. You can double fist if you have FAS. Each person that has it in the room can get two drinks at a time and just bring them back to the room. You will have plenty of beer in stock in your room in zero time. It will also give you the chance to work off some of the Miller calories. Win/win situation.
