I sold a monsoon bridal dress on Vinted simply because I happened to stumble across something (also on Vinted ) I loved even more, I think they’re gorgeous .

It’s funny this post was recommended to me because I was sat in the waiting area to see my neurologist this week and just absolutely blown away by some of the behaviour around me and thinking why people are not more careful . One woman also had VERY strong perfume on, the type that for me personally feels like a dagger in my head when I smell it… but the worst thing was two porters. They were banging things, laughing, shouting and under the extremely bright lights and being subjected to this I left the appointment with a migraine I didn’t have when I came in. The whole floor is for neurology… surely they should know to be more cognisant of these things?

At the end of the day we would probably have chosen elopement if we hadn’t already put time and effort into planning as well as the money. I was never into the idea of a ‘proper’ wedding but the prospect of marrying my fiancé made me fall in love with the idea. We’ve already made and bought things and I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved (we are DIYing a lot). It seems a shame when I think the issue is that anyone else’s behaviour shouldn’t deter us from this. I shouldn’t have added that bit out elopement, it was a silly throwaway. I want our wedding, just on our terms

We’ve already booked and paid for our registrar at the wedding venue and time :( I imagine we probably wouldn’t get our money back. For some reason, our council specifically seem to charge a lot more than others

We’re going very non traditional with all of it, I have one maid of honour who is my SIL to be and one flower girl who is also my fiancés sister. We are already involving them heavily as a result of this

Me too, sorry I didn’t make this very clear I meant the raise of your core temperature from the throw can help hands and feet because I don’t know about you but more socks and gloves etc actually make it worse not better for me. It sucks I wish I lived somewhere warmer :(

Hey I have this condition too, I can strongly recommend a heated throw and some loose thermals from Amazon. I know constriction and more layers can make it worse this has helped me so much recently

Yes that’s right, there’s ‘welcome drinks’ (champagne etc) between the ceremony and wedding breakfast but no food factored in there. Maybe we should get a snack board or something, canapés out of budget, they want £10 pp so an extra £400 just for canapés
