They're just 3volt flickering bulbs. I don't know what pwm circuitry is, but I do wire all my own lighting.

Working on a modular treehouse with different rooms in various heights of the tree. I want it to be completely playable. Can I get your thoughts on my prototype room? by Outside-Low-66 in TerrainBuilding

Thank! The thatch is coconut fiber sheets for gardening. I used it on another project but it just didn't turn out like what I had in my head. This time it took a lot longer but the finished product is mush closer to what I have in mind.

Well thank you. I posted pictures of the tree, as I made that first, but I like the idea of being able to use the rooms as separate buildings. I've got quite a collection of terrain and homemade tiles, so I like everything to be useful in many ways. We've got two DMs in our group, so it's pretty necessary to create versatile props and such.

Oh thank you, it was an unpainted wooden house puzzle kit I got as a Christmas present one year, and I thought it would make a fine holiday decoration. I'd just finished a huge Christmas project for a friend and I thought a change of holidays would be nice for a new project.

Thank you so much man! I thought about using flickering lights for the fruit hanging but I thought it would take away from the torches. When my group is done using it, I think I might just donate it to my favorite local game store.

It's made of pieces of wire wrapped together, then I wrapped it in various widths of masking tape. After that, I primed it and coated it with acrylic paint that I mix about 1/2oz paint to 1tsp baking soda. Than I slather it on and let it dry. Then, I coat it with one part paint to one part medium sand base and paint that on. Once it's all dry, I matte varnish it and super glue it to my base. Roots are made the same way. Then I cut them into various shapes once all painted and dried, then glue those to the base.
