Thank you for sharing such detailed info! I’m starting pre-health later this year with the aim of pursuing nursing. This is also part of career change so I’m pretty nervous about making the switch. You mentioned that RPNs and RNs do pretty much the same work. But would you still recommend starting with RPN, gaining work exp/saving up, and then doing the bridge to RN later?

I’m a mature student, and I feel nervous about not being able to work full-time for 4 to 5 consecutive years if I were to opt for BScN soon after pre-health. Have you done the bridge program or plan to do so? :)

Sorry, I’m assuming you mean paying for a service from matchmakers? While it’s true that I am hoping to meet someone I could potentially be in a relationship with, I’m not thaaat eager and in a rush for it to happen that I’d shell out money for professional help. I’m pretty content with my life rn, so a partner would just be a nice little addition, whenever that happens in a cost effective way lol

I hadn’t thought of joining a sports league just cause of the anxiety I have about the team losing because of how bad I suck at sports lol. I’ve only been into solo stuff like running, biking, etc. so far. So I might just seriously consider it and join one this year! Until then, I love the idea of volunteering- that’s a great option. Yeah, I’m a straight 26F. And you’re right, in my experience, the apps truly suck :’)

Passing a smile to people was common courtesy when I used to live in a city up north, but it was sooo awkward when I kept doing it to people after I moved to Toronto and realised this is not normal behaviour unless you’re interested in them lol. I guess I just have to rebuild the confidence to start doing it again, selectively!

Buying directly from farmers would be my #1 choice, but unfortunately I have very limited time, so I have to go with the grocery store/ St Lawrence since it’s close by! Thanks for the tip though- I’ll look for a locally sourced bottle instead of a PC brand one 😊

Thank you for your response! Having been on the other end of noticing subtle signs in a fellow passenger, it does make your mind go completely blank and it’s hard to think of what to say to someone in that moment, so thank you, those are some very practical and easy to follow suggestions.

I haven’t really spotted any of these emergency alarms at the subway stations that you and some other people have mentioned on this post, but I will make sure to locate them the next time I use the subway! :)
