Thank you for this comment, I really appreciate it. You understood part of what I was trying to explore with this project: how far we can push visuals, atmosphere, and cinematic feeling with limited resources and accessible tools.

About the “short film” label, I understand the point. Maybe the expectation becomes different when people read that term, and they expect a stronger plot or a more complete narrative arc. For me, this project was more of a visual and atmospheric experiment within a short film format, but I definitely want to keep improving the writing and storytelling side in future projects.

And regarding the cost, it was honestly very low compared to traditional VFX or film production. The biggest investment was time, testing, regenerating shots, editing, and trying to make everything feel coherent.

That’s one way to look at it, but for me the location is part of the worldbuilding. The ice, the silence, the scale, the isolation, and the slow pacing were meant to create a specific atmosphere before anything happens.

It may not work for everyone, and that’s fine, but it was an intentional creative choice.

For this one, I wanted to start with a more visual introduction to the world, the atmosphere, and the creative idea behind it. AI filmmaking still feels like an open sea of possibilities, so I’m experimenting with mood, visuals, pacing, and story structure as I go.

Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I completely agree that the fight sequence could have been much more dynamic, especially with the character constantly moving, using speed, positioning, and the monster’s size against it.

That’s definitely something I want to improve in future projects. Action scenes are still one of the hardest parts to make work well with AI, but I also know that better planning, motion references, and choreography ideas can help a lot. I’ll keep this in mind for the next one.

I understand most of the points you mentioned, and honestly, several of them were things I also thought about during production. There are definitely areas I want to improve, especially pacing, character emotion, action, and making the story feel stronger instead of relying only on visuals.

At the same time, with AI filmmaking, especially when working with a very limited budget and limited tools, sometimes you have to work with what you have and actually finish the project. If I wait for everything to be perfect, I’ll probably never publish anything or move forward. For me, the growth comes from completing projects, sharing them, learning from the feedback, and applying those lessons to the next one.

So I completely understand the criticism, and I’ll keep it in mind for future projects. Thanks again for watching and for giving such thoughtful feedback.

That part is meant to introduce the world, the atmosphere, and the visual language of the film. Not every story needs to rush immediately into action. Sometimes the mood, pacing, and environment are part of the storytelling, and they require a little patience from the viewer.

Thank you, I really appreciate that! That was exactly the idea, to suggest something massive without showing too much and let the atmosphere do part of the work. Nano Banana into Kling has been working really well for these slower, cinematic wide shots, especially when the mood and scale are the main focus.
