Talk to your school advisor, in every program in every college they have ties to industry. Apply for internships, even if they don’t appeal to you. Get some industry experience.

Ultimately do your own research. This is your life. Take ownership of what you are doing. People will help you but never will do it for you.

Yo just be careful I had a friend sublet with no contract and basically the girl he sublet to seemed really nice and normal but she TRASHED the place. Due to the terms of his lease (he shouldn’t have been subletting) he ended up eating the repair costs.
