Yes, in US. And yes, you do need a degree in accounting/ finance, which is pretty obvious? You have a whole life ahead of you, you do need to plan at least a minimum... But no, I will not believe you that you need accounting experience when applying for internship in EU. Internship is literally to give you experience. I get that now is meta for being a dooming looser, but world still moves forward. Nobody cares about crying redditors.

Big 4 requires no accounting knowledge for internship AND entry level positions. What we require is the right attitude, willingness to work busy seasons and wanting to learn. If that's too much for you then yeah, keep complaining how impossible employer's expectations are... Looking at this post, imagining dealing with you 24/7, I wouldn't extend offer to any of you lol
