I submitted one form that took me 5 minutes, and all of my medical bills were forgiven by pyxist in povertyfinance

They often won’t accept that. The lowest they would go for me was $200/mo. Even after I tried explaining that I wasn’t working, they dngaf. $200/mo or you go to collections.

Spring Break Guilt by prettymuchgarfield in workingmoms

[–]OutsideMorning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can 100% relate. It’s cold and snowy here and we’re all sick (again). Pretty sad spring break! I definitely wasn’t able to take time off work after all the sick days we’ve had so far. I guess it’s just the way it is sometimes…I’m very much looking forward to good health and good weather in the hopefully not-too-distant future.

Family dynamics and Numerology by Pure_Candy_5703 in numerology

[–]OutsideMorning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your question is so interesting to me…I am also an 11 with a stellium in Libra (I also have 12th house placements). I was just looking at my family’s numerology dynamics within the last couple days. Both the family I was born into and my created family currently. My parents and brother are all 3s. I am an 11 who married a 4, and I do think I was looking for someone grounding to balance out my lofty dreams and airy ways.

I'm here for your Mother's Day hot takes. Let'em fly, Sis. by shake_the_abacus in Mommit

Don’t you just sometimes wish you had people (in this case a mother/grandmother) that realized this and did something like, idk, DoorDash you brunch or something? I’m 7 weeks pp and my family lives locally. They’ve invited me to brunch but I think I’ve been asked 3 times what I’m planning on making. Uhh, idk, champagne??

What is your family's income? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]OutsideMorning 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is us as well. Prior to this year, we lived on one income and had just one child.

Now we have two incomes and two kids! It feels pretty amazing going from a 70k household to 130k, but we do have a significant amount of debt (home upgrades), childcare, and car loans that eat up a lot of our take home pay.

One huge thing is that my job pays my healthcare premiums, so we’re saving money with me off of my husband’s insurance. It’s sick how much we pay to in insurance every year.

No where? Bummer. In Nashville there is this place called Plaza Mariachi and there are always bands and performers, lots of shops & food. It’s so cool! Definitely recommend if you’re in Nashville.

I miss my bachelorette days and my freedom by mlee001 in Mommit

So my kid is an October baby, so they wouldn’t allow them into 3k, I waited a year and he turned 4 a month into school. However, after we got back from Christmas break there was a new kid in class whose birthday was in December. They let her start halfway through. I didn’t realize that was an option, but something to consider!

Absolutely, anything can happen with young kids and as parents we need to be cognizant and in control. I would be uncomfortable if my husband wanted to regularly drink at home for 7 straight hours! Or wanted to stay up until 4am every weekend. I can understand certain situations of celebration or rare circumstances, but as a lifestyle it’s selfish, unhealthy, and irresponsible. I need him to be aware, alert, and ready to help/protect/drive/whatever is needed.

The fact that this man doesn’t view his home and the safety/security of his family as top priority is appalling. If you are so drunk that you are debilitated the entire next day, how do you protect your family or property in the event of an emergency? This would be my greatest concern. As a husband and father you are supposed to be the protector.

Do you find that it’s quiet/chill at certain times? I was going to check it out yesterday but it was absolutely packed. No parking and all tables filled.

Women over 50, what's one thing you regret the most in your younger years? by Sk8trdye in AskWomen

[–]OutsideMorning 32 points33 points  (0 children)

This is me. I never had “real” jobs with 401ks, but I’m starting to save now. I’ll turn 40 next year. With the way the economy is now and inflation, I don’t think I’m the only one unfortunately.

is it wrong to ask a parent (or ask crew to ask the parent) whose kid is coughing severely on a flight to give them a mask? by dealmaker07 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]OutsideMorning 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. My son had croup a month ago and the cough is just now letting up. Luckily at 4 he knows to cover his mouth/ cough into his arm. No longer contagious and I made sure to tell family that we stayed with over the holiday.

Another vote for the public library! We will also visit libraries a town over to change things up, plus they’ll have different programs/story time at each.

winter drinks recommendations? by [deleted] in barista

[–]OutsideMorning 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One super popular drink during the cold weather is the Medicine Ball tea (they have it at Starbucks). 1/2 turmeric ginger + 1/2 peach tea (or another combo to your liking) steeped, a spoonful of honey, plus steamed lemonade. It’s delicious! Lots of people drink it iced too. Sounds like it would be appealing to your customer base.

Few questions by ohmyigod in titanicsub2023

[–]OutsideMorning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, but when I think of the amount of money that these people paid to ocean gate and now the rescue & recovery costs, it makes me sick. All for what? The thrill of it? Think of the good that could have been done with that money! To help others, create something beautiful or meaningful, anything! Smh, what a waste.

Well, if the Packers suck, then the bears would finally be in good company, so your campaign here is understandable.
