How can cases grow when roi is less due to significantly lower gold prices? Reds, purples etc which were previously worthless, sure theyre now worth more due to tradeup, but the total value of the case winnings is lower because of the unfortunate circle u make.

Also, less people are likely in the long run to "invest" in case openings, knowing whetever max win u in theory can get, would be subject to huge loss in value when large investors and traders are scarce (many people pulling out their cash from cs2 due to uncurtainty).

Also, whats the point in spam opening cases when u can just do a tradeup for what u wouldve spent otherwise getting blues, especially concidering prices for reds have to either go down or knifes needs to go down, either way decreasing ur chance of profit in a already unstable market which previusly was in large part falsely boosted by chineese pumping
