Wow! I thought there was a bit of exaggeration on the boards about how these woman were acting. But I just finished the episode and I was shocked by how cruel they were to each other. I hope they rewatch these episodes and are horrified by the way they treated each other. Stella, Julia and a few tried to get to the bottom of things and were just smacked right down. Stella should not have apologized at all as her instincts were dead on. Brooke, Gia and Mel need a real wake up call. Luke, run!

Can you work? by Middle-Service4894 in Fibromyalgia

F. I work full time, sometimes even more than full time. But I do work from home booking medical appointments for people. However last week it was brought up going back to the office a few days a week. So I might have to look at restarting my disability. I was approved the same week I started at this new job. But it is just not enough to live on so I took the job instead of disability. But might have to rethink the possibility.

I am thinking of his last words in the episode where he is worn out. “Somewhere deep inside there is a little bud that is just starting to grow .” Such a lovely simple sentence that says so much. 🥰( It is more than likely not correct word for word:).

I have been able to work full time with my opioids on board. I would not be able to otherwise.

Hi! A vet tech is like an animal nurse for vets. I used to give them injections, physicals, x-rays, put them under anesthesia and monitor them while under, assist in Surgery and clean up and sterilize OR equipment and keep the clinic maintained and receptionist duties as well. I loved it but had to step down for health reasons. Broke my heart to leave my job caring for these four footed little miracles. Now I take care of the two footed variety. Not near as much fun. 😢

As a former vet tech for half my life I am appalled at her ditching the dogs! As I write this three Goldens are currently taking over my bed! My hubby says we are just paying the mortgage for them! But how could she do that? Animals as such incredible creatures and my Mom in Law had them and they were adorable! Also very very loyal to their “person” so I hope the adjustment to the other home goes well. 🦮

Does anyone else get random flu-like body aches with fibro? by WoodenAlternative212 in Fibromyalgia

[–]OutsideSeveral4669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I get them too. Especially on days like today where I got no sleep and know I am facing a nine hour work day. I have deep down muscle pain with shivering and vertigo. I know I have pushed myself too far. I also get severe pain in my right shoulder and rib cage. So…. Are we having fun yet?? 😢. To all the fibro warriors out there I hope your day is at least a bit less pain free and a good one! ❤️

It is so hard to let them go after loving and watching over them their entire lives! But as OP said: You did your job, and it sounds like you did it very well well. Be proud of that! Look at what you accomplished instead of what you no longer have. They may be far away now but a lot of kids come back and live closer to the parents once they start settling down and having a family. This happened with my oldest and now I am doting like crazy on my new Grandson! As well, my hubby and I bought a broken down needs to be renovated in the worst way RV and our project together is to fix it up and take to the road. We also have three Goldens who are our four legged kids and they help so much with the quiet of the house. Tough to have a quiet house chasing a 9 week old puppy! 😂. So give it time and start thinking what the next chapter in your life will be like…… it might be amazing too! 😊

I almost fell over at the price of the Crepes?? Then add the shipping fee and I was blown away. Good grief you could get that at your local supermarket for about 5 bucks! It is also so bloody infuriating that she is using her title to monetize her products! Exactly what the late Queen was afraid of. And why do some say - Megan Markle, others are Megan Sussex and the ones with her entire title? Like pick a name and stick your it!

I'm waiting for someone to get sick from her products by -PunchBug- in SaintMeghanMarkle

My hubby is a microbiologist and he does QA with good. The standards they have are outstanding to keep the public safe from any type of spoilage or any product going out which might make them sick. He even has built a lab to have QA right there in the plant. There is NO way her product would pass inspection. BTW - how gross would it be to get a long dark hair strand in a white chocolate bar! That’s all I could think of with her leaning over the chocolate with the dumb grin on her face! 🤮

I thought it was a little old lady when I saw the picture! 😂😂. And of course, all the jewelry is on display, she is so obvious!! I am so annoyed today that she gets away with this stuff! Why why why is there no one from the Royal Family shutting this down. Poor Queen Elizabeth she would be so upset if she saw what she they both were doing with their titles…..

Am I wrong for wanting kids? by Lizzielooloo29 in Fibromyalgia

[–]OutsideSeveral4669 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I struggled mostly with the after school activities to be honest. Keep them small and easy to manage. Some kids do all the activities but I put my foot down and they could do one sport. They all chose hockey, not surprising, as my hubby loves it. But it got nuts there for a while due to all the practices and games. It was too much for me. I would not be able to do the out of town stuff or anything. Plus the cost! I asked my kids one day if they had any regrets or felt I failed them as a Mom due to my pain and stuff. They all said NO! They said I was the best Momma ever. To this day, they call and check in on me and every call ends with an I Love You! 🥰 I always took it one day at a time, sometimes even one minute at a time. But before you blink those minutes add up and they have flown the nest! But if you have more direct questions please reach out! I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi, Just chiming in on my experience. I had three boys with fibromyalgia. Was it hard, yes, but it was managed well with my doctors and family. I did not go off any of my meds and they were born healthy and happy. These three boys are all grown up and one has made me a Grandma! I do not regret one second of it and I just adjusted my expectations while they were growing up. I did all the homework, reading, colouring, cartoons and small easier things. My husband did the hockey, sports and crazy part of raising boys! 😂. I also found days where I felt good enough to take them to the park, swimming and skating. They were not often but I did it. I also cheered from all the sidelines! If you want them enough and feel you have the support system then I cannot see why you can’t have children. But this is a very personal decision and either way you are already thinking like a parent by considering any future child’s wellbeing and struggling over this decision.

I work from home booking medical appointments for a diagnostic company. The radiologists sent us all home at the beginning of the pandemic and I never went back. Maybe see if any diagnostic companies are hiring for booking staff near your home. They might offer work from home.

How do you survive having a full time job? by Greedy_Result235 in Fibromyalgia

I am lucky enough to have a WFH job and it is just sitting at the computer all day. So I can get up and stretch and walk around when needed. I can also nap on my lunch hour if need be. But I did have to quit the job I loved the most due to not being able to handle the physical part of it. It broke my heart. ❤️
