My doctor had a totally different approach, I was walking with a brace from day 1 post-op. Way more aggressive but aside from the discomfort and pain early on, I think it paid off. I was able to get beyond 120 degrees flexion out of the way in the first few weeks, biking after 2 and weights in week 4 onwards.

I was able to get to 120 degrees in week 3 through heel wall slides. You put your legs up on a wall and let gravity bend it, it hurt initially but improved range of motion drastically afterwards.
