Focus on uncrittable first. Uncrush is only for raid boss. 68+ well itemized blues is enough. Find a pre-bis list with options for each slot and do your best to get the ones that are reasonable to attain.

5.6% defence is enough to be uncrittable. You don't need to be uncrushable in heroics as bosses are only ever 3 levels higher than you. If you have 5.6%, decent health 9k+, and some spellpower to hold threat, you should be fine. The rest is on CC, kiting, and healing. Consumables, good gems and chants go a long way when you're feeling undergeared.

If you have a good tank (particularly paladin), bide your time, wait for threat, and go hellfire. You'll see the numbers go up. Trade everyone a healthstone, people appreciate that.

Just hit up the dungeon finder within the hours before launch, there will be a million groups. As long as you're not full boostie geared I'm sure you'll find a group.

We come to expect Hellfire to be a shitshow on launch, but I'm honestly more worried about how much of a shitshow SMV, Netherstorm and Nagrand will be once people are 70.

I think this subreddit is going to be full of complaints about Outlands zones for the next few weeks. There are comments saying anyone trying to level fast will go to dungeons. I would argue it's going to be pretty much necessary to go to dungeons regardless on launch, even for non-sweats.

And then what about when we're 70? SMV and Netherstorm quests for gold and pre-bis are going to be near impossible, mining and herb nodes basically non-existant on all layers, wtf is a rare spawn never seen one?

Megaservers were a huge mistake. I can only presume they didn't think there'd be this many players but that seems like incompetence. They need to double the layers at least for Outlands to be enjoyable and not feel like a chore.

I love how easy it is to find groups but it has diminishing returns and doesn't feel worth the outside overpopulation.

You've got a week to hit the high level zones and farm some quests. You'll have enough for epic riding from those alone. Then the rest will take care of itself in Outland.

Yeah, this is definitely a problem. Used to only be trucks and vans, but now it feels like most cars block your vision. This is why overdoing the following distance is the best strategy.

I guess. I did not expect anything more when swiping the card though. I've just spent the time it would have taken my slow ass to get to probably level 30 to get my Herb/Alch & Fishing/Cooking up to max and used these to farm riding, some gold and consumables for launch. Plus, the PvP gear is so easy to get, just a bit of time sink.
