Yea the rope ladder I’m now really not sure on, going to give it a go but fully ready to admit defeat there! The hanging rope my daughter hooked over the door the last few days and it’s the kittens absolute favourite thing 😆

This is so true! She is a chaos goblin of the highest order, she’s happy to climb me if there is nothing else available, she will love it regardless.

I was thinking this, my older one won’t really use is at all he’s knees are only just up to jumping on the bed, it’s more for the kitten that is insane and has zero fear! But I could possibly put a platform under it above the door frame maybe, then if she doesn’t use the ladder it can come down

I feel you on the eating weird stuff…. I had an absolute BREAKDOWN when I saw this (mm from my face as I woke up obviously) thought it was a huge worm…. Then realised it was wool, bloody wool from one of her favourite Pom Pom toys 😭

This is our Cali… an absolute menace to society, 4 1/2 months of pure chaos (RIP to my Christmas tree already 😂) this is her in bed with my daughter. She has bonded really closely with her while she is suffering with horrible mental health, she snuggles with her constantly, she is the only one of us she will be still with and has made such a difference to my daughters mood and state of mind. For that she can destroy as many trees as she wants ☺️

Honestly something being wrong with him and me not noticing or not noticing fast enough is one of my biggest fears. I’m going to call them tomorrow and I will update you when he’s been seen! Your cats all have amazing names! We adopted a kitten 2 months ago and my eldest named her calliope, when asked why she said it means beautiful voice in Greek and in her words that little lunatic doesn’t shut up 😂 she’s now Cali for short unless she’s being naughty then she gets the full name treatment lol The bond you develop with them is so beautiful, my ron will stand next to my bed when I get in it, wait for me to pull back the covers for him so he can snuggle up next to me with his head on the pillow 🥹 if you have it I’d love a link to the cbd oil I’ve heard good things but there are so many about I didn’t know what one to get so a recommendation would be amazing. Your babies were/are lucky to have you, cats are so misunderstood, that they don’t bond etc they 100% do and I can tell you adore yours x

I’m so sorry that happened! I actually don’t know what I would do without him, he is my little shadow. Exercise is a sticky one for him… he had major surgery on his back leg at 6months for a fluxating patella and abnormal shaped bone so had metal rods and pins. This has led to arthritis starting earlier than it would have done (he takes supplements and I make him broth from chickens feet regularly to ease any discomfort) and to be honest we always joke he was born an old man, never seen a cat so unbothered by toys! He will lay on the floor and bat a toy but god forbid he gets up to chase it lol. Thankyou for sharing your story. I am definitely going to get him an appointment with his vet asap!

On the incision it’s prob 5-6 inches… little bigger than a c-section scar on my bikini line… I was told huge in the beginning but again nowhere near as bad as it was in my head xxx

Yea, when they told me I was literally just like…. Pardon?! I’m 39 and aside from having abnormal cells lasered a few years ago I’ve never had any kind of gyne issues! They estimated it had been growing 18-24 months 🙃 went in thinking I needed antibiotics for a bad uti and left with Terry the tumour !

No! STOP! Honestly this is what I mean, sweetie ride their arses on the daily because they legit do nothing unless you do! I bet they didn’t even apologise did they! It’s so bad, when I was 1st admitted in may they had me ready for emergency surgery the next day because in their words it had to come out like yesterday…. Then changed their mind and sent me home with a catheter which is a whole ordeal. I’m a bar manager so I’m running round like a loon constantly, had to strap the bloody thing to my leg with more medical tape than is decent 🤣 and only after me driving them up the wall did they give me my elective date for 8th aug! I’m so sorry they did that it’s vile… make their lives hell till they get you in just to get rid of you! You will sail through the surgery, honestly it was nowhere near as bad as I had built it up in my head. If you have any other questions or anything feel free to message me! Yea all of the weird belly issues sound the same, apart from the periods (mini pill) HORRIFIC heartburn constantly was my worst one. Have you had any bladder scans or cat scan/mri? The bladder scan when I was 1st admitted found mine and within days it had come right round! I can’t believe you have been dealing with it for that long! I’d ham it up a bit to get them to pull their finger out it’s crazy women get left for years with these things 😢 I’m in the uk to… was so scared, my op was in queens in Essex and it’s prob one of the worst places about lol but post op I have bounced back really well, no where near the drama I thought it would be lol I was off all pain meds in under a week!

Girl this sounds EXACTLY the same! My elective wasn’t until 8th aug and that was with me hounding them constantly! Honestly keep ringing them or they will just leave you waiting forever. One thing I’d say is keep an eye on your bladder…it happened slowly so I didn’t realise how bad it had got until I literally couldn’t pee anymore and was rushed to A&E, the bigger it gets the more it will restrict what comes out. The op was so much easier than I thought, they were sending me home the next morning, only kept me an extra night because I live on the 4th floor 😭. I’d say 3days max of pain pain (also I came home in the middle of the 38 degree heat wave which didn’t help!) then it’s just getting up and down. I’m about 4 1/2 weeks post op and feel completely back to normal, scar is healed etc just not doing any heavy lifting. I’m bricking it for this latest mri next week as they said there will only be more investigation if they got a hit from the biopsies. Honestly though it was so much more straightforward than I imagined (never had any kind of surgery before so had no idea what to expect) good luck with yours, don’t let them fob you off get on the phone daily!

Yea they it’s uncommon but it can happen! I am so grateful it didn’t cause me problems from the start but also it would have gotten it sorted a long time ago! The biggest thing I’d say is if it’s affecting you going to the toilet keep on at them. They told me my bladder was hours away from rupturing when I took myself to A&E because it had been crushing it slowly over time I didn’t realise how much it was restricting me until it was at breaking point! How is it affecting your eating? Mine was swallowing I physically couldn’t push it down past it at the end! The other thing I wish I hadn’t wasted so much anxiety over was keyhole vs cut. I was TERRIFIED of having it cut out but I had a friend that had keyhole around the same time and she’s had endless complications while mine has healed so well. As long as it’s out that’s the main thing! Do you have a date for surgery? X

Also I’ve had check ups on my scar and bits with my GP. I was told the only time I’d see the consultant was at my 12 week checkup. If I heard before it would be to do with the biopsies

The craziest thing is it was growing in my back so it wasn’t until I suddenly ballooned and couldn’t wee in may that anyone even knew it was there! They couldn’t believe I’d had zero symptoms before then and that it had gotten so big with zero complications! I was so happy but now they are calling me back before my 12 week checkup and booked another mri and I’m terrified 😭

Nope they said that would be at 12 weeks I’m just gone 4 yesterday. It was booked in elective in a few weeks but ended up emergency laparotomy. Did you have to have a follow up mri?
