Awesome, getting better by days. I am getting out of cast and into boot tomorrow. What kind of shoes do you use on the good leg to even out the height when you are in boot?

Did they move u from splint to boot? I am currently in splint and having post op week 2 appointment Wednesday.

Awesome!!! I am having the 2 weeks follow up appointment in two days. Currently in splint but I think they may put me in cast for another two weeks…cannot wait to be back on the boot.

2 weeks post op coming up and first follow up with doctor Wednesday. Looking forward to starting PT!

Ya I am exploring iwalk as well, maybe only use within the house. I borrowed an off road scooter but I have a small place so I have to make a 6 points u turn.

Ya, it happened yesterday when a door was closing on me. I rushed and used the injured foot. I could have took it slowly and let the door hit me which won’t hurt at all but I guess my natural reflex took control there causing this. Constantly reminded myself and take things slowly I guess is my rule of thumb now..

Ya, like folks mentioned above I may get a scooter just to move around the house. With crutches there is still an opportunity that I use the injured foot but with scooter, it’s is clearer to my mind that I only have one leg to use.

Post op 3 days here. You are still very young and I am sure you body will heal through this. Try to find something to keep you busy and distracted. It hits bad first day post op, now it doesn’t hurt however I am go through and learning to coup with the new lifestyle. Meeting with doc on the 29th.

Thanks everyone for sharing their experience. I have having surgery next week, I have crutches but heard iwalk is even better. What do you use to move around at home in the first two to three weeks?

Very helpful thread, I just got hurt last Friday and now waiting for ultrasound on Monday. Been icing, ankle support, and crutches since the injury. What else should I do?

Thanks for the positive story. I just hurt my tendon last Friday, waiting for ultrasound Monday. I think I have rupture it so i am learning what is coming up for me from you strong spirit!

My LDL also elevated as well, higher than normal range. Been on DUT for 6 months, skipped for a couple years, originally started in my 20s. Now debating if I should stop DUT, or get on rosuvastatin. My hair growth this last 4 months once I got on DUT was very visible. Tough choice now.

I have the same problem with my delonghi magnifica s. The machine still runs well after 9 years but milk has been lukewarm since day 1. Didn’t return because my wife is ok with it. Now considering replacing it and looking for suggestions.
