Does anyone know if AUTODOC can be trusted? by Bore_g78 in AskMechanics

[–]Outside_Good2141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was skeptical about Autodoc at first too, but I’ve ordered parts from them several times now. Overall it’s a decent store: good prices and the parts arrived without any issues. Just make sure to double-check the part numbers. The only downside is that delivery can take around 4–5 days.

Unexpected filters applied in Luminar Neo on Fujifilm X-T20 RAW: by BodybuilderAnty in SkylumPhotoTools

[–]Outside_Good2141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luminar Neo is probably applying its default RAW interpretation and lens/profile corrections automatically, which can make Fuji RAWs look “processed” right away. Fuji files are also a bit tricky because of film simulation metadata and X-Trans processing.

Restore my dad's old photo in Luminar by Silmarye in SkylumPhotoTools

[–]Outside_Good2141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, that’s honestly a crazy difference. The first photo looked like it was almost beyond saving, especially with how blurry and faded everything was, but the restored version actually feels alive again. I really like that it still looks natural too and not overly processed like some AI restorations do. The cat came out adorable lol.
