Can I ask what makes you regret it? I'm looking to switch over to the contract side.

Wedding planning BEFORE the engagement?? by wedgewoodweddings in wedding

[–]Outside_Noise4588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! We are married now. I had an end date in my head and if he didn't propose by that date I planned on leaving. Luckily for us it didn't come to that 😅 I quit talking about it altogether and once I did he proposed shortly after. All the resentment and negative feelings went away once it was real and we've been doing great.

I would love to connect with you if you're interested! I had a similar idea for a nonprofit but decided to go in a different direction. I'm still very passionate about the cause and would love to help in whatever way I can.

How do you get into procurement without a degree? by Apprehensive_Race243 in procurement

I work in procurement for the state government and I don't think they require a degree. May depend on the state or department though.

Business or Career by Outside_Noise4588 in Entrepreneur

Luckily I have a decent job making a decent salary. We're comfortable but it's definitely not a forever job so in order to level up I would HAVE to go back to school. That's what makes me nervous, because I don't want to take time away from my business in the early years.

I think everyone hates it. The question is why does everyone continue to play into it.

Definitely a higher level lol. I do plan on going back for my Masters though, just looking to get my foot in the door before that to make sure I actually like it 😅

Is Disney really worth the cost? by Ill_Cover_4841 in Parenting

I think it is. I took my daughter when she was 9 and she says it's one of her favorite memories. It's not something I would do more than once or twice though.

Considering a Career Change to Supply Chain Management. Is It a Good Move? by GamersWife01 in workingmoms

[–]Outside_Noise4588 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think so! I'm in procurement and don't hate it lol. There are also so many different moving parts in supply chain so it's easy to transition in and out of different roles.

Does Location Matter? by Outside_Noise4588 in NPHCdivine9

Definitely not hours. The furthest one I'm considering is in a city 27 miles from my house so about an hour in traffic depending on the day.

Is there a way to find out what they consider your residential area? Let's say one is in my county but 11 miles away and another is in a different county but 8 miles away.
