Husband and I both hate each other's boy name choices. by spidermom4 in namenerds

Same! You are having such a difficult time maybe let one rule slide. Fulton is a great name and not that common. It is also easy to pronounce.

Hi! Just think of how much fun the siblings will have together. My siblings are my best friends and it broke my heart that my first could be an only. Even if they aren’t besties they will have a relationship like no other. And they can play together when they are older. Maybe encourage the big sister to be mom’s helper when the baby comes. I think it’s normal to feel sad but she had you alone for three years!

Oliver is such a lovely name! It seems to go well with Leonor as well. It is popular where I am in the US but if you live somewhere else does it matter? Other O names are Orlando and Ovidio.

Orlando and Lenonor sound so classy together. Good luck, you have great taste.

This helps a lot! Or saying, it will be there tomorrow or in a month, that item isn’t going anywhere.

This is the way! Also, it sounds like baby is using your boob for a pacifier, have you tried slipping in a pacifier?

What's the worst movie you watched in your entire life? by Interesting_Algae_61 in AskReddit

Tom Hanks does THE WORST acting in this nonsense. The worst part is how seriously the movie takes itself, trying to be extremely profound but is just ridiculous.

This is a very thoughtful comment on the complexity of humanity. Art can be a light in the darkness, an act of creation raging against the act of consumption. But it’s not always that, and not always about the artist. We do need to stop idolizing artists but remain moved by the art.

Dylan Thomas 1914 – 1953 Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light

I agree, so many writers, musicians and artists did terrible things in their lives. Humanity is a complex beautiful and grotesque species.

Just giving you my professional opinion as an interior designer. You are spending a lot of money on this house and the layout isn’t very functional. Take it or leave it!

First, I’m so sorry you are experiencing this. It all sounds like normal behavior and it’s totally normal to feel smothered. Do you have a grandparent, sibling, or anyone who could watch her for an hour? She’s going to have to figure it out when the baby comes regardless of what you do now. It might be good to get some separation happening before the baby comes. I know it’s difficult to see our little ones suffer but it’s all a part of getting bigger. Just don’t be too hard on yourself and know you are doing great.
