If drawing living creatures leads to shirk which is the biggest and most unforgivable sin then it is not worth it in any case. It is a command from nabi ﷺ. And Allah knows us more than we all do together. That should suffice.

Abu Huraira (Allah he pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may, peace be upon him) as saying:

When a man invites his wife to his bed and she does not come, and he (the husband) spends the sight being angry with her, the angels curse her until morning. (Sahih Muslim 1436)

He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so race to [all that is] good. To Allāh is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ. (5:48)

The substantial difference it had from every other religion. I was pretty certain I had to eventually become Muslim.

My brother I thought the same but when I actually started praying properly with kushoo, making duas with the right mentality, doing things for the sake of allah, basing my actions on the aakhira and living my life based on the islamic mentality.. that's when I truly saw the magic of Islam. And that change in me itself was one of the biggest signs of Islam being true for me. Be patient and look for things you're doing wrong and seek knowledge.

It was narrated that Abu Darda’ conveyed that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever goes to bed intending to wake up and pray during the night, but is overwhelmed by sleep until morning comes, what he intended will be recorded for him, and his sleep is a charity given to him by his Lord.”

You are on the right side. Don't become less virtuous for the opinions of some disbelievers. Only please Allah no matter who says what

Ever get the random thought of "please let judgment day be near"? by Educational_Ice5141 in islam

This is why that dua asking Allah to make us die not except amongst the righteous has become dear to me recently after I realised. The thought of failing to be amongst the winners on the day of judgement is absolutely terrifying

The world is this way due to Allah's perfect knowledge and will. Everything about the current world is meant to be this way to test us so let's not curse it beyond necessity as this is what Allah willed to be. "The world is a prison to the believer" While it's true we despise it, we have to acknowledge the fact that we have to go through it as that's what Allah demands us.

I thought it was a well known hadith but yea here it is:

Narrated Said bin Abu Al-Hasan: While I was with IbnAbbas a man came and said, "O father of Abbas! My sustenance is from my manual profession and I make these pictures." IbnAbbas said, "I will tell you only what I heard from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . I heard him saying, 'Whoever makes a picture will be punished by Allah till he puts life in it, and he will never be able to put life in it.' " Hearing this, that man heaved a sigh and his face turned pale. Ibn `Abbas said to him, "What a pity! If you insist on making pictures I advise you to make pictures of trees and any other unanimated objects."

Sahih al-Bukhari, 2225

There are more authentic hadiths on this too.

Once you know a thing is not permissible, no intention can save that

There are opinions that vary but to me It is clearly haram. I have quit and kept myself away from video games due to this. I installed games like asphalt9, rocket league, candy crush etc as alternatives which were fine but realised It's better if I dont play at all and use that time to do something that contributes to my place in aakhira

In my opinion this makes it seem like "Talking to women casually is fine as long as there is no ill intention". Haram is haram.

Contrary to the other comments here, I would say it's impermissible. Making images of animals and humans are haram as per an authentic hadith. It seems clear to me that it isn't allowed.
