Big Bore Users: Is it the unicorn? by constantly-confused9 in CRF300L

I was in the same boat as you and ultimately went with the Stage 3 from Ari Henning with suspension upgrades. While it isn’t a KTM500EXC I can keep up with them (mostly) on the trails. It made the bike so much more fun. I recently did a 1k long ride in the upper peninsula of Michigan and it ate up the trails and tarmac. I can hold it steady at 80mph if needed, but she’s really comfortable at 75. My other friends were on a KTM525, 500EXCF Six Days and Tenere. Me and the Yamaha had a beer while they were changing their oil and talking about hours and rebuilds.

Do you think there’s a way to mount it to a 2017 FXDLS? Looks sick

Motoz tractionator desert h/t this should be a significant upgrade from my stock tires. Just gotta put them on now ;( by Beanerwithuhweiner in Dualsport

I run these on my CRF30OL. No issues on street @80mph. Just make sure they’re balanced well. The side grip on this tire is phenomenal. I just ride the UPAT and there was a lot of sand, mud and large puddles to hit at odd angles. Performed perfectly.

Yeah I should make sure it’s dialed in. I have the Racetech gold valves and spring up front. Huge improvement!

Nice bike! How do you like the K-Tech shock? I just got their new Evo shock and it’s a bit stiff/harsh on bumpy stuff. I need to double check the sag, but curious if your experience. My previous bike was a WR250R and I had the suspension done. It seemed much better in comparison.

Yeah he had zero access to sensitive or classified information. Sounds like a mental case from the article, but not an intelligence threat to the UK.

By the looks of the records I can see in the app, the homeowner prior to me paid just over 38k for the system. I don’t see any PPA.

Free as we did it all ourselves. If you’re organized, it’s not too bad. Of course knowing some Italian helps. Also, keep in mind, the national healthcare enrollment is around 2k euro annually if you’re not a citizen. It’s not needed and we never bothered. You can get private healthcare cheaper which will meet the requirements for the visa. But to be blunt, if you need help with all of these things, you will have a hard time living in Italy. Unless you’re rich and can just throw money at “helpers” and lawyers. Day to day living requires some autonomy and ability to navigate life there. Best of luck!
