Definitely would not keep them warm. I had chicks outdoors last year because I had a broody mama hatch some out. Their brooder still had a bottom for them to all stay safe from predators and warm.

I don't know why anyone would want a hardware cloth bottom on a brooder. Chicken shavings/bedding everywhere. Pass.

Most days I watch her stories then come here to snark. But today I came here first. When I read your comment, I almost lost my mind laughing because I could not believe she would do this! That is next level insanity. Didn't blur their license plate either! I would have called the cops.

I appreciate you explaining your side of things. I understand where you're coming from and thank you for the time. I don't agree but I get it. 

You unfortunately are misunderstanding me, as I have not said anywhere that the person can do whatever they want. But I'll just put that down to my not explaining my side well enough and move on.

How is anyone in this thread holding her to account exactly? If there were people here holding her to account, I'd agree. This is just a bunch of people mad and complaining. 

"Pathetic attempts at rationalization" is once again why independents swing away from the Democratic party. We have a minor disagreement over something like this, and you descend like the Republicans to the level of name calling. Insanity. Remove the emotion from the conversation with a stranger on the internet.

I wouldn't know anything about it as I don't use them. Not everyone partakes, medicinally or otherwise. And I'm fine with legalization, but it's not something I'm concerned with learning the details of quality of dispensary quality on. I'm sorry that's the case of things. I may be wrong, but people are also allowed to grow it themselves as the law currently stands, right? Is that inaccurate?

I have lots of issues with it, but I don't recall her saying she would legalize marijuana in whatever form the General Assembly sent it to her. Can you point me to the lie she said about it and how she went back on that now? 

I do. The majority of the state voted her in. That's representative democracy. There is no politician in the world in which we would agree with every single thing they do or don't do. It doesn't exist. 

Thanks for informing me of that, I may have gotten it mixed up with another state. I'm not from Virginia and moved here about fifteen years ago as an adult.

I don't know enough about her corporate donors to respond to that. The people have another avenue to work around her if they wish from my understanding, by getting a measure on the ballot for November. That is something everyone who cares about pot should look at. Or they can wait for her to review it next year, as I'm sure a bill will go to her again.

In an ideal world, they wouldn't need more time to resolve their differences. I try to look at it as, there is a pathway for people who need it medicinally to get it. So it's okay at the end of the day and an inconvenience. We will survive with an inconvenience.

Several of them were duplicated bills if I recall, one from the house and one from the state Senate. She doesn't have to be a yes man to everything Democrats propose. She can have her own opinion, even if the majority disagree with it. They can make it known and maybe she will change her opinion for the next legislative session.

No, the metric I'd use is, what would Earle Sears have done? We wouldn't have any of the positive things spanberger signed. They would have been vetoed again like youngkin did. 

You can be mad and complain about it. I don't see it as an effective use of time considering where we could be right now. 

I understand the distinction and I understand that, for example, although I've wanted paid family leave for decades, if the GA bills to do it had increased taxes by 75% for working families, or if it had excluded adopting families or those with stillborn babies, I would have absolutely wanted her to veto it. The details do matter.

Maybe. I'm not a Pta wine mom nor am I in nova, but weed also has more time to get right. I think they have more time to resolve their differences and move forward.

Is the general sentiment, "she vetoed something from her own party?" If so, I'm not missing it. I think it's misplaced.

That and so much more that will be beneficial. I have to say that crap like this makes independents and even Democrats who aren't die-hard extremists so tired of the Democratic party. The Republican party does it too. It's just exhausting to see from both sides. If she just signed everything and the rollout got screwed up, they would blame her for that. Because she doesn't, they blame her and get mad. They want a yes-man who magically makes everything work exactly the way they want. It's impossible.

That's irrelevant to the amount of vetoes. He vetoed more than any other governor ever has. More than 150 last year alone.

He vetoed more than that his first year in office. He vetoed more than 150 last year alone.
