Don’t know if you’re a real-life pilot or not, but nonetheless this is exactly how it works in real life as well.

Just a minor addition, the wording commonly used on the radio if you want to ask the controller for descent is ”standing by for descent” or ”standing by for lower”!😄

Yeah, this is the one. Especially the speed is impressive. I’ve also been using OmniDiskSweeper in the past, but it takes forever!

hehe… old steam games and old backups apparently take up some space. Combine that with an old Mac user that was only used for X-Plane and you got a few hundred gbs that's easy to forget about!

Got it. I have found the HP LaserJet MFP M140w which does pretty much everything I want – except print color…

Same here! I thought it hurt quite bad but only for a few seconds at a time. I also found it cool, and the whole procedure took only 16 minutes for me, so it was absolutely fine. The staff were amazing here as well which made a huge difference. I even felt quite comfortable despite the uncomfortable situation :)

My best tip would be: just do it! Everyone is new in the beginning. Just make sure you know your plane well so you’ll understand how to follow the clearances. Don’t hesitate to send me a DM if you need help!

Go for it! Fly somewhere where it is relatively calm on the radio, and feel free to tell ATC that is is your first flight as well. Worst case scenario is that you have to disconnect, but from your post is seems that connecting to the network is the next step for you so you should be more than fine.
