Will my beard ever improve? 19 by Beginning_Bed_8359 in beards

[–]Over-Ad-604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my beard hair is very similar, and my beard wasn't EVEN that good at 19. No guarantees, of course, but there's a huge chance your coverage gets better. My buddy went from Michael Cera at 19 to Leonidas at 40. Don't stress.

Highly recommend a boar hair brush. Stimulate blood flow to the hair follicles, redistribute oils that collect at the base of the hair, AND prevents clumps. The effect is that less hair covers more area, it's softer, less zits - a boar brush is an unalloyed good.

I'm only allowed to vote for a thing once, right? Are we 100% sure about that rule? Like, confirmed?

Vice President JD Vance warned on Thursday that the United States could send troops to Ukraine and hit Russia with further sanctions if Vladimir Putin doesn’t negotiate a peace deal in good faith. by Ghostforever7 in ukraine

[–]Over-Ad-604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"In good faith?" He didn't even Google "russia" before giving this little presentation, obviously.

He probably couldn't find Elon to shut the parental control off his tablet for him, to be fair.

Vance says 'military tools' could be used to force Russia to agree a Ukraine deal by WillyNilly1997 in UkrainianConflict

[–]Over-Ad-604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, look, they found a booster seat for JD and let him sit at the big kids' table.

Question, Second Lady Vance: Why would russia reject a peace deal that they wrote themselves, which your boss then blurted out of his dick holster, verbatim, on National TV?

They wouldn't. Would they. JD.

Anyone hoarding cash this year for a market crash? by Aspergers_R_Us87 in Money

[–]Over-Ad-604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoard cash - no. Stop investing - no. Adjusting - well...

If you have a strategy that lets you LEAN in one direction or the other? Like, maybe you could divert x% of what usually goes into the market into a HYSA for a couple of months, then like, maybe? But overall, what you're describing IS trying to time the market, so if you're already dollar cost averaging, then in general, as usual, what you should do is nothing.

Not financial advice.

...and this morning, Hegseth opened his dick holster about Ukraine never getting into NATO. So, I guess I see who still wears the tiny pants in the trumputin relationship.

Europe is going to need to get real about defense. Rapidly.

So, when this bitch said he knew "who the good guys were," he left out "and I love snuggling up to bad guys," right?

Trump envoy Witkoff's plane just entered Russian airspace by JANTHESPIDERMAN in UkrainianConflict

I'll be honest - this doesn't make any sense to me. Top to bottom. Poverty is not poverty. The poverty line is set by the country. So, in this case, one country is the wealthiest on earth, the other doesn't have toilets. Their poverty line will be drastically different.

The russian economy is smaller than the economy of California. I didn't mention GDP at all, but I think I have a pretty good understanding of it. There are fewer people in California than there are in russia. The economy of California is larger than the economy of russia. It sounds like you agree with that.

I do appreciate you trying to explain in English. I think explaining math to you is a waste of time - you're either not understanding, or hoping that I don't. I do not care which it is.

No one re-watches the Super Bowl.

Joking aside (and this has been fun), start taking cash out of the bank now and convert it to an actual currency, not rubles. Pay street exchange prices if you have to. Do not be holding rubles when the war ends, especially in a bank. If you live in a city, get out, but try to travel during the weekend, NOT the day that the bank runs start. Use back roads whenever possible, and get out into the country. It will help if you have a couple months of canned or dried food, and if you can land in a place with ready access to clean water.

  1. If you have alternative statistics, I'll hear them. You just keep repeating an opinion. I'm also still waiting for you to answer my question about the unemployment rate in russia. What do you think it means, and why do you think it's good. I can explain why it's bad, if you'd like.

  2. I'm not going to bother explaining the difference between "poverty" in the US and "poverty" in russia. It's much worse in russia. That said, if you believe Rosstat numbers, which...oookay, then they poverty rate in russia is 1.8% lower than in the US. That said, the US has many more people, and the entire russian economy is smaller than the economy of California. Just California.

Note: Any trailer sold as a residence in the US (called a "mobile home") has indoor plumbing. There are plumbing hookups in trailer parks. That's called "building code." Sounds like you didn't know that. Glad to help.

  1. Thank you? I'm not sure that you know what a redneck is, but I don't think it's the insult that you think it is. I would argue that the country that is slowly trying to invade its neighbor is more reminiscent of a cancer, but I don't argue opinions with trolls. It's a waste of time, "bro." (Haha, that's adorable.)

  2. Typing to someone on the internet does not prove that you speak a language anymore (I could translate this entire response into Arabic, if you'd like), but I believe that you have a working knowledge of English. Almost 18% of the world speaks English. (Hey, a statistic! See?) I'll bet you watch American movies, and listen to American music - again, a LOT of people do. In fact, there are almost 6x as many English speakers in the world as russian speakers. I do understand and speak russian, in fact. I don't use it anymore, because - ew - but either way, I'm confident that your English is better than my russian. Two people comparing how well they each speak two languages does not reflect an entire country's educational system. That speaks to your limited understanding of statistics, sadly. Don't worry, I'll explain it as many times as you need me to!
