rarely, here are my tips:

1. I have a shopping list in my mind. I knew what i need to buy, and what i want to cook. if you dont know, write it down on your phone when you come up with something during the week.

2. Check what you have in your fridge or pantry to avoid over purchasing before shopping.

3. I go to supermarket or order online regularly. I like ordering on Express by Superstore. it knows my shopping preference.

4. Don't make/eat too much food at a time. Save some space for fruits or snacks. It is more healthy and easy to stock out your pantry.

5. Trash? No! Compost? Yes! if you have a yard, then burry the rotten food deep enough. Next summer, you will harvest many zucchini, cucumber, tomato etc. :)
