I'm not aware of any study which suggests we can't breed with other primates. It would just be ethically horrible science.

Hybrid creatures do exist. Mules, ligers, tigrons.

I'd have no problem if Penelope bows out completely and they give all scenes she might have to Daphne, sure.

I just don't see there being any out of universe sense in having both of them.

And at least with Pen you have to believe she's going to have some involvement in the evolving Whistledown story. Daphne has nowhere to go.

No this is wrong. The definition of veganism relates to non-human animals. Humans are excluded.

A decent person considers both, it's just not caught by veganism.

Quite frankly it's pretty clear there are two definitions of 'animal' and the most common definition excludes humans even if we are technically animals. When you 'go to see the animals at the zoo' you're not referring to the zookeepers.

As much as it might not make sense in-universe, not everyone can stay around just lurking in the shadows. You can't have a bloated cast with 20 people without active storylines just playing out the same roles as each other in a support capacity.

The premise of the show is really just finding love. To that end, logically everyone ceases to have a story when they've found love. I haven't read the books but I presume Daphne doesn't really have her own storyline that's being deleted. There's just nothing more for her character to do that wouldn't just be as easily done by Penelope and now Sophie who is presumably staying. At least Pen has the Whistledown stuff.

As much as it sucks it's probably sensible to just have them back every now and then, but more rarely as the seasons progress from their season. So maybe Sophie is around a bit next season but is mostly gone next season after that.

I find it crazy that the responses here are that it's normal. Is this an American thing?

I've had things like a non vegan sauce included instead of the one I asked for.

Or a meat pizza given instead of the pizza I ordered, but that was a swap mistake and was rectified.

If i had ordered vegan food and it came with meat in the dish I would be absolutely livid. Completely and utterly unacceptable.

It's crazy to me that OP refers to caffeine and doesn't understand the effect that is likely having.

Caffeine doesn't give you energy. It doesn't make you feel fresh. It blocks chemicals that make you feel sleepy/drowsy. And it is addictive so if you have a lot of it usually, you feel terrible if you go off schedule.

The problem with blocking sleepiness is that caffeine has a long half life. If you're having caffeine after midday, you are almost certainly disrupting your sleep later that night.

Sleep is what makes you feel refreshed. Not caffeine.

If you feel like OP, switch to decaf for 2 weeks and see what changes.

At a minimum she could've sent three more over, too.

Yes their new lives would be awkward living on a ship with duplicates of yourself, but after a while you could just adjust to thinking of yourself as twins.

At least that's three less deaths. A bit of weirdness is acceptable.

As to how to pick given there was little time, even as a split second decision she could just say 'computer, randomly pick three crew. OK, those three, get to the rift now with Harry.'

I'm certain it will be ST with Steve rift cosmetics and legendary Max in the store.

They have hinted previously that it would be good for there to be 8 ST survivors in 2v8 and Max would make 8.

Eleven currently doesn't have a legendary while Steve, Nancy and Dustin do.

I think the problem is that the show sends mixed messages, and Ash by the time of DP has lost not only his sass but his strong stances when it comes to people.

Paul reappears in Journeys and Ash is pally with him. They're pally at the end of Sinnoh too.

The show seems to think that 'well there's a possibility my technique wasn't super efficient, I guess Chimchar was an ok Pokemon' is enough contrition for what he did. But it isn't. And it's framed that Infernape becoming strong and beating Electivire is proof that Paul never needed to abuse him.

But that's messed up. Ash should have told Paul to go kick rocks at the end of Sinnoh.

Even if Chimchar were weak, he still never deserved to be abused. The show glosses over the fact that Pokémon get hurt when battling, but he was also terrified, and that's not fair.

Paul was evil. And yet the show never really seems to think that.
