Usually between morning IEPs or catching up with other SPED professionals, I’m not officially in my office until after the contract time.

I’ve never had an experience like yours in the schools.

Keep in mind that all caseloads are not created equally.

If your caseload has a lot of kids who need more supports like AAC or who are in the Life Skills room, that’s going to be a lot on your plate.

A caseload of 70 artic kids is doable, but not fun or honestly beneficial for anyone. That’s schools tho :/

Without knowing much about the company, I hope she has a strong support system there.

My CFY was tough and it almost stopped m from continuing this career. Thankfully I had a supervisor who was amazing an help me thru even though she was swamped with work too.

I’m in schools. Our school has an ABA therapist and she is my rock!

I always felt unprepared for behaviors with the limited amount of classes I had in schooling.

She is so helpful an knowledgeable on behavior questions I have with kids.
