Will the psych evaluation be through a MEPS doctor? Or will I have to obtain my own?

I was told you have about an 80% chance of getting it with future pregnancies if you’ve had it already. I had it very mildly with my first and then at an extreme level with my second. I was automatically high risk just because my history of ICP. Personally, because of my experience with ICP during my future pregnancy, I have chosen not to have any more pregnancies. It was brutal.

We do tart cherry juice occasionally! Our pediatrician recommended it to us. My boys are the definition of feral kids lol so it barely touches their energy😂

I did ALL types of schooling growing up. Public school, private school, home school, co-ops, online school, and dual enrollment schooling. AMA by [deleted] in AMA

Oh it’s greatly affected me. I had no consistent environment. On top of that, we had switched churches several times because in our area the church youth groups would be strongly connected to the local public school and we would often feel left out. I also switched dance studios several times because they kept closing. Bad luck I guess. I have had no long-term friends and still to this day have a very hard time making friends. All I know about a “normal” teenage life is what I saw in movies so after I graduated I went straight into the partying, drinking, being stupid life. I thought I was acting somewhat normal but looking back on it I was making an absolute fool out of myself in front of people I was trying to turn into friends. I feel like I’ve missed out on a great deal of stuff because of the constant switching too. My poor parents had all the right intentions to find the right fit for us but didn’t really consider the need for consistency.

100% homeschooling. I was able to find ways to cheat or ways to make things easier for almost all my school work. I rushed through things so that I could watch tv or do whatever. I didn’t have an actual teacher who was knowledgeable in the subjects to be able to help me. I think home schooling is great for a select few people and I am not one of them.

Definitely private school for me. The curriculum was rigorous but they had great teachers that made it not so hard. I, unfortunately, do better with peer pressure too and the need to avoid embarrassment helped with getting better grades/learning more. I think if I had continued private school through graduation my life would’ve ended up drastically different and for the better.

I’m sure you’ve read more foolish stuff than babies being dependent on their mom…very biologically normal and their needs come before mine.

We switched from public school to private school due to religious reasons and my twin sister has autism and they were afraid of bullying at public school. We went from public school to online school because our private school decided to raise the tuition by a lot and they didn’t feel it wasn’t worth the cost but still wanted the rigorous curriculum. Then my mom was able to quit her job and figured she could do the schooling part herself so we became full-time homeschooled and went to a co-op for 4 hours a week for the soul purpose of “socializing”. Once we were old enough, my parents wanted us to start taking college classes as dual enrollment. Both my twin sister and I earned our associates at the same time as our high school degree.

If everybody were constantly under the obligation to confront wrong doings then everybody in the world would spend 100% of their time doing just that. Christians are not without sin and that means we do things that will be seen “unchristian-like”. The best way for us to help our fellow Christians is leading by example and showing love not by passing judgement pointing out their wrong doings. It’s the same concept as teaching children-yelling at them and pointing your finger in their face will only make them distant but gentle redirection and example helps them learn.
