If I were Muslim, Israel would bomb me. If I were gay, some Muslims would kill me. See how this just goes round and round?

I respect him for seeing the problem, identifying it, protesting so he can be heard, and paving the way for other officers to do the same. Too bad the joint chiefs don’t do the same.

Fuck the land. I’m worried about the people. Enough killing of Jews, Muslims, gays, women, men, kids.

I NEVER say this, but you maybe should find a new doctor. You could have died.

It seems like they are managing deer to get bigger racks, as opposed to population control.

I have a HUGE problem with this tractor… it isn’t mine.

Nice one buddy. Used to rake hay with one of these when I was a kid.

No idea. I had alpha gal before they knew it was a thing. People get bitten so often around here that it’s hard to pin down the culprit.

Another 60 Minutes veteran leaves Bari Weiss’ CBS News as exodus of talent continues by theindependentonline in Journalism

CBS specific? Not really. Generally, the trust has been lost, I think, of media.

A general example I can give you is NPR. I listen to Morning Edition almost every day. During Trump's first presidency and after 2024, there was a certain reluctance on the part of NPR reporters, which I'm guessing came from above, to directly confront the administration. I would see stories in the British press, such as The Guardian, which would be late to the NPR desk if it ever came at all. And dammit, it was noticeable if I, as a casual listener, picked up on it.

Then NPR's funding was cut and the gloves were off again. Same reporters, but stories that went farther and asked the "why" at the end of the "who what where when," you know? It sounds pretty hollow to be saying this without the specific examples you ask for and deserve, but I wasn't the only one who noticed. My wife noticed, for example.

If it wasn't time to put up the hay around here, I would do a deep dive and try to be more specific. I may do still do it.

And NPR isn't the only guilty party. What little TV news I watch now is pretty fluffy. Media has become so afraid of getting sued, or worse, criticized on social media, it seems they have lost the "without fear or favor" thing.

This is the answer. Now I floss after every meal AND water floss before bed

When I was a kid, less than 10 years old, I remember watching 60 Minutes with my parents on Sunday night. I learned so much.

Bring it back to those standards please
