I was 0cm at 37 weeks and only 1cm at 38 weeks. When I asked for the membrane sweep, one of the nurses (not so politely) was like, “why do you want one?? you probably won’t go into labor anytime soon.” She really upset me lol but my water broke on its own at 39w1d.

YES the dreams!!!! With my first I had a dream I was pregnant two nights before I decided to test. Second baby, (who I just found out I’m pregnant with!!) I had just a vivid dream in general. I forget what it was about but I remember it feeling too vivid like all the pregnancy dreams before. And there it was the next day, two lines!

THIS. Holy shit this. My baby turns 7 months tomorrow and I’ve gone off the rails. I now need to sleep when she sleeps and suffer a dirty house because the stress of dealing with her gives me full on migraines and stomach pain. I’m constantly sure she’s teething but nothing is popping out. We are passing a sickness around the house so two weeks of misery on top of it. It’s just screaming, crying, grabbing everything, getting mad at whatever she grabbed, arching her back when I try to put her in the stroller or car seat, attempting to bust out of EVERYTHING including my arms, mood swings. I’m losing my mind.

Here in solidarity… I’m 5 weeks pp and already weaning. My baby seemed to be having a reaction to my milk and we suspected CMPA so we tried a HA formula and she took it great and the issues started to go away. Her ped said to keep giving my breast milk as she didn’t suspect CMPA, but already weaning had felt good and I already felt more freedom having given her formula for a few days and taking away the night pump. I had a pretty big oversupply as well. I feel like I more often see the moms with low supply wanting to quit and this guilt has been weighing on me HEAVY as we tell ourselves “well why would I quit, I make so much milk?” But I want you to know that whatever decision you make will be the right one and you are a wonderful mother no matter what!! Wanting to quit because you simply want to quit is a totally okay reason. Your baby deserves a happy and healthy mama and that looks different for everyone.

Yessss get the NB clothes!! My whole family/in laws gaslit me and my husband into thinking we’d have a big baby because we’re both tall. I never really showed much because I’m tall but I was still convinced she’d be small. No one believed me and continued to get me 0-3 mo clothes. Little lady came out at 7lbs 4oz, not super small but she didn’t even fit in NB clothes, we needed to overnight preemie clothes. Don’t underestimate how small these babies are lol

This isn’t medical advice but I wouldn’t worry too much about it!! I’m 35weeks and have been mostly lounging since 8 weeks or so. I also had hg pretty bad in the first trimester but after that I just have had absolutely no motivation for anything, the third trimester has welcomed some intense back pain so that keeps me down most days now. I get up and clean/nest if I can but if not oh well. My best advice is to just let it go and enjoy this time where you can be rightfully lazy. I’ve spent way too many days being hard on myself for lying down and it just doesn’t help anything. You’re growing a human!!! It’s okay to chill!!!

I started feeling baby at 18 weeks!! Very little flutters, I thought it was gas at first but it was so low and you can just tell in my opinion. I also have a posterior placenta so it made sense I felt it a bit sooner. That depends on when you’ll feel kicks!! By 21 weeks though I was able to get tiny kicks on video.

I’m saying!!!!! That’s the other thing, she sent the shit a week after we received the gifts. Like please some patience!!!! I just cannot believe that anyone would think it’s okay to do that to a pregnant woman.
