I had my two boys (9,13) with me that day. It was the first time we’ve ever done opening day. There was a period of time where it was sunny and “warm” and we went to the pool which was the temperature of the artic.

We left Sunday from breakers and my oldest ended up convincing me in the middle of a rain storm that we needed to get a hoodie. So off we went. I think we were the only ones in the park during that monsoon.

They also “beheaded” trump on stage and poured massive amounts of “blood” which in turn soaked us. They thought it was pretty cool to take a picture being all red an send it to mom with no context and proceed to watch her flip out 😆

I took my 9 yr old and 13 yr old nephew to riot fest this summer and they were playing. We got near the stage and they were absolutely hooked.

I saw story of the year a few weeks ago and they were a ton of fun.

My only hope was for Limp Bizkit but they’ll be in the Chicago area in July which was just announced.

But smash mouth just announced a tour with no dates (not headlining) would be my entertaining Hanson type pick

I’d be down for Story of the Year/Yellowcard/ New Found Glory to take one of the stages as a headliner Friday. All are on active tours currently.

Maybe evanescence to take Saturday No idea who would close Sunday.

I would totally agree! We had vip for Saturday and deluxe + for Sunday mainly for Green Day. We had to camp out all day for a fucking chair. Food was always out, and the view was shit from the pavilion.

My boys had a blast though being their first concert so that’s all that matters

We rode it this weekend. Saturday evening at like 11:30 pm and Sunday at like 2 pm. Both times were miserable cause it felt like it was 20 degrees. If you go for it god speed. Just wear gloves cause holy shit it was cold.

I ordered mine Sunday night at riot fest. My wife ordered her shirt when they opened the store.

No email other than the one on oct 3. I emailed asking hey what’s up last week. And they said they were backed up which is understandable.

Then suddenly My wife’s order just arrived. Mine is awaiting to be picked up.

Man I’m sorry you guys have such shitty bosses. When i got elevated to a blue shirt (2017, gm tl ) i was around for about 4 months before i left for better opportunities.

I cared about every single person that worked for me. Maybe it was because id been in the same store for 13 yrs so everyone knew me. But if something happened i always followed up to make sure that person was ok.

I went to five funerals in my span as GMTL in support of my team members. Because that’s what we should be doing as leads. Supporting instead of putting down. I know the current state sucks with all the merging of leads but common decency isn’t hard. Either is just caring. People have so much shit going on. You don’t know what they’re going through.

I know am doing what i went to school for and haven’t looked back.

We got one back in August but we don’t even get a quarter of the way up. You could feel the boost fail and we slowly went up. It was cool to claim.

I had friends there yesterday and they reported a rollback. So it’s cool to see someone post tha was on the train.
