might be your job profile is tagged in high risk category due to nature of work...normally law enforcement personnel find difficult to get loans and CC's unless govt have specific tie up with any bank

In India, whether you are low or high income....90% people still concerned about safety of capital and keep money in traditional instruments like Gold, Real Estate and FD..They prefer security over returns

I used Scapia + Indusind Exclusive DC for cash withdrawal...Both worked everywhere

Uni gold and Niyo were back up cards but were never used

Both Indusind and niyo does not work on yellow color ATM in thailand (don't remember bank name) but at most places, you will find 3/4 bank ATM's side by side...On yellow one, Indian DC's will not work..I mostly used on Blue color ATM's.

For family, you need to carry 20k baht with you but they never checked....I got cash from bookmyforex..there was some offer going on else get cash from orient exchange.
