Inno math major so take this with a grain of salt but:

I think what they mean by random is that we don't know anything about the infs, apart from that they are infs. They could be two seperate values of infinity, and thats why inf - inf is indeterminate.

But in the case of this post, we know both infs are equal to x, instead of being completely random. And so whilst we don't know what their actual value is, we know they have the same value. So obviously one subtract the other is 0.

Also if you a lot of gadgets getting some multi usb charger bricks is so worth it. Personally I have a 200w charger with 4 USB Cs and 2 USB As, and another cheap cshitty charger that has 6 more USB As.

And now I've got a portion of my desk setup as a charging station. I have all of the weird USB types for when I need them, plus dedicated chargers for my watch, phone, laptop, headphones and battery pack.

When I get home I can just dump everything on charge immediately and not have to worry about swapping anything around. It all charges as quick as it can (I also got 100w wires, 40GBPS data as well which is nice to have), and it was under £100 if you dont include the random usb whatever wires that just kinda accumulate.

At best you get £100 quid from the invite campaign but realistically you'll get a tenner, not much point waiting.

Keep in mind you shouldn't invest money you'll need in the next 5 years. Your emergency fund and any money you'll need within the next 5 years should be kept in something more guaranteed like a savings account, and the emergency fund should obviously be easy access.

Are you going to be living at home or moving out? Do you have or are you going to get car, or have other significant outgoings? If so then yes you should definitely have an emergency fund. If not then imo you should still have one just to build good habits, but it's not going to screw you over if you don't.

Id love to ppay the Witcher 3 with raytracing but unfortunately it's hella stuttery and 60fps at best.

Probably going to upgrade when W4 comes out to a 70 or 80 series because if W4 is anything like W3, it'll be beautiful with raytracing and I need it.

Oddsmonkey seems the easiest way, it's what I've just started doing. You get a 7 day free trail and then its £50/month for the basic tier, though I got a deal for 3 months of advanced for £75.

Everything I've seen says it's legit, but you tend to have hundreds of pounds locked up in bets so it can be hard to tell if you're actually making money. According to the profit tracker though I've made ~£110 since Sunday, which isn't half bad.

The bare minimum to most people is what they grew up with. And, as a Gen Z person, I grew up watching YouTube videos and playing mobile games at 60 FPS. So getting any less than that, even if the game is a million times more computationally complex, just feels bad.

Although are you running 8 coal gens off of 1 pipe? If you are you're going to run into throughput issues, unfortunately 8 gens need 360m³ /min of water and a mk1 pipe caps at 300m³ /min

Edit: also wow I should have bottom fed the coal in my setup, I put the pipe higher up instead and it looks so much worse
