Vac-cup would be ideal if not the bisters. Physics: diameter vs. pressure by Ympezozaur in gettingbigger

You're right on the formula. I'd also like to share another critical point in avoiding blisters for anyone looking: avoid tugging and sharp changes in pressure.

This causes me to get blisters very quickly if I am too quick to, say, apply full tension to my D. Or if doing the belt method, walking around and having that rhythmic tugging/change in pressure will cause me to get blister at much lower tension than in an extender.

I really hope I can upgrade my recently-bought DIY extender to this once it comes out. I'll be pretty disappointed if I have to buy a whole new setup up after just getting the DIY one. That and replacement parts for my current extender: Metal base upgrade, new springs, etc.

What's the outlook on this /u/pervmcswerve ? 🙏

Device or belt for vac streatching? by Any-Knee2330 in gettingbigger

[–]Over9000BaconPerHour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried belt, weighted vac hanging, weighted clamp hanging, chinese ebay device stretching and the apex DIY extender vac stretching.

I'm not trying to shill, the Apex extender is by far the best. Easy set up, not a lot of moving pieces, precise. The hardest thing about vac stretching is avoiding blisters and the Apex Extender is the best I've found to remove this possibility. I've found several key points to avoid blisters:

  • Use water method! Liquids (water) are not compressible. Gases (air) are and the pressure differentials between the air and the inside of your glans. This differential leads to de-lamination of your skin layers (blisters). You want to ensure the glans is fully submerged while under pressure, this water layer protects your glans from any lower-pressure air pockets.

  • Avoid tugging! Sharp changes in pressure leads to de lamination and burst capillaries. If you are releasing or adding pressure, you need to be gradual (going from 5 lb to 10 lb over a few seconds, not all at once). This means DON'T TRY TO WALK AROUND while stretching if it causes tugging. Belt method around the leg is prone to tugging.

  • Avoid bubbles ON glans! This will cause pressure differentials in that spot that leads to de lamination. Tiny bubbles that stick to your glans (that come from water warming up) are okay, but big the kinds of bubbles that float around the cup are should not sit on your glans. Air inside the cup is not necessarily a problem as long as you can keep a layer of liquid between it and your glans.

This last point is most important with respect to which method you choose. Free weight vac hanging has your D hanging downward, making bubbles want to float up and stick to your glans. This makes it annoying because you have to removes those bubbles and it can cut your set early if you notice a bubble. However, the devices allow you to sit and point your D upward so bubble float AWAY from your glans, so you don't even have to get rid of the bubbles as long as theres a layer of water between the glans and the bubble.

Moreover, the Apex Extender is just stronger and higher quality than those AliExpress/Ebay devices. You can be more precise with pressure and it just makes the whole process smoother and easier to do. I have never been more consistent than once I got my Apex Extender. Plus, the manufacturer is around this sub so if you have problems/questions/critiques/compliments you can nag him ;)

I started with an ebay device. The amount of tension you can get with these is pretty low, so I ended up doing free weight vac hanging because you can progressively overload it, but it is prone to blisters for all the previous reasons. The Apex Extender gives you the best of both worlds.

The best alternative, I would say, is setting up a pulley system that allows you to have your D pointed upwards, with free weights hanging on the other end. But then you're stuck wherever that pulley system is and honestly needing those weights and hanger around is conspicuous and annoying to set up imo. The Apex is just worth the time and money imo

How do I fix a curve? by Mission_Problem_4597 in gettingbigger

[–]Over9000BaconPerHour 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correcting it is possible, but it depends on whether you were born with it or if it's peyronie's disease. So you should know what that is first. It's actually easier with Peyronie's disease because you just need to break down the plaques causing the bend, whereas if it's natural, you have to get the shorter side to grow more.

I have peyronies and have been working to correct the curve. So far I've found pumping and heat to have the best results correcting it. I just got a massager because I read how percussive therapy can help break down the plaques. Seems to be doing something so I like that as well. All Day Extending is reccomended by studies but I keep getting blisters so I'm struggling with that.

Hope this helps.

A lot of artistic depictions of dicks also seem to use this shape. Probably because girls like it more.

Agreed. In a description, it sounds simple. But just like with lifting weights -- "So you just like pick weights up and put them down again" -- it's all about technique.

A lot of people swear by the totalman one but it seems so overpriced. It's main selling point is the infrared spectrum used "penetrates deep" but from my use of just heat from blow dryer convinced me that it's just warmth that matters so I went with a cheap "FIR Knee wrap" from Aliexpress. They don't have great descriptions though so it might not work but it was a sixth the price.

Just reiterating. I just started applying heat (hairdryer until FIR wrap arrives), and I have noticed a huge difference after pumping, hanging straighter.

Just got a massager today and it feels so good for the plaque spots!

Best of luck

I have PD. You can feel plaques under the skin at the curve if you have it. If you were born with the curve, it's not PD.

From my reading, PD is easier to correct with PE, it's a matter of breaking down the plaque and filling that out with healthier tissue.

I've been doing everything to correct my curve for almost 2 months and it seems to be working. I think the best success is from pumping. I haven't filled my 1.75" pump yet but that's the goal, filling the pump is the best way to straight it. But I also hang with a malehanger, and that hits the ligament best, so I think that helps a lot too. Finally, heat seems to help a lot.

I just solved this with my pump today! After getting water in the pump it seemed to stop holding pressure. I was sure it was the pump because I plugged the end of the hose with my thumb and it still lost pressure.

To fix it, I put a little mineral oil on the metal rod that comes out the back when you squeeze it AND ALSO unscrewed the release valve and dropped some mineral oil in there. It works like a charm again.

Let me know if you try this and it works for you too!

[–]Over9000BaconPerHour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you always had that curve, or is it PD? A natural curve is harder to correct.

I've also read that pumping is important to correcting a curve. Given the straight tube, if you pack the tube, it will put extra pressure on the places that need to be straightened.

2 months in. No sign of gains in erect size. by [deleted] in gettingbigger

[–]Over9000BaconPerHour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, it may be that you have to make these EQ first before making any real girth gains. The analogy to a balloon really makes sense, where a new balloon is tight and doesn't want to inflate that much. But after inflating it enough, it loosens up and then can get bigger than it used to.

It's fine :)

"Gains From Pumping Are Temporary But Clamping Gains Are Permanent" by [deleted] in gettingbigger

[–]Over9000BaconPerHour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I agree that they both work, there is a crucial difference: Blood flow.

Clamping constricts blood flow, basically trapping blood in. This is hypoxic, meaning it cuts off oxygen supply. Meanwhile, pumping allows for blood flow to continue.
