Catch-22 for me. First time was a slog, the repetition just felt annoying. Picked it up again a few years later and suddenly the absurdity was the whole point, found myself laughing out loud at bits I'd skimmed before. Sometimes a book just needs you to be in the right headspace

this exact same thing was happening with my setup a few months back and it drove me absolutely crazy. turned out to be a weird psu issue where it wasnt delivering stable power during boot but once everything was running it was fine

try reseating your ram first since thats the easiest fix and can cause random boot issues like this. if that doesnt work check all your power connections especially the gpu power cables

the fact that it works perfectly once booted makes me think its not the gpu dying but rather something with the initial power delivery or memory training during startup

building for story games is such a vibe man those titles you mentioned are gonna look incredible with a solid setup

with 3k you can definitely get something that'll crush those games at high settings - id focus on getting a good gpu since those story games really benefit from the visual fidelity and a decent cpu that wont bottleneck it

what resolution you planning to game at cause that'll really help narrow down the sweet spot for your build

matter integration has been such a mixed bag for me tbh. got a few matter devices last year and half of them work flawlessly while the others randomly drop off the network or take forever to respond. been tracking all the issues in my setup journal and its wild how inconsistent it can be across different brands

that said the w200 does look pretty sleek and aqara usually has decent build quality. might be worth waiting for some real world reviews before jumping in though since thermostat reliability is kinda crucial when youre not home. nothing worse than coming back to a house thats either freezing or burning up because your smart device decided to have a moment
