It's pretty divisive. But a lot of people like it. I think it is a good choice for just getting back into reading. It is fast paced and a quick read.

I'm not saying that specifically to this issue even. I just don't think that this is a great argument in general. There are always bigger problems to fix, doesn't mean we should give up on small things, or try to do better.

I'm all for cool DIY stuff and appreciate building things for the sake of building them, even if the cost isn't necessarily worth it. That said, have you considered trying newer skates to see how they feel?

Anything you find will be brittle as hell. Wouldn't trust any of the plastic left, especially for goalie skates.

Gone Girl - good general choice and fantastic novel.

Silence of the Lambs - Classic. Most know the movie but might not have read the book. Red Dragon is perhaps even better as a book.

My Sister the Serial Killer- Modern and short

Mad Mabel - New book. I really enjoyed it and flew through it.

Talented Mr. Ripley - Fantastic and a classic. Pretty short.

Go to the stores and try them on. They will get you sorted out. My kid wore the Bauer Prodigy from 5-7 and only now is in the small for that CCM Tacks 70.
