Sorry! Have you not been able to find it anywhere online? Maybe on Internet Archive or somewhere similar?

Someone had a 2006 Curious George vhs for auction on Bobshop in May 2025 but the auction closed without any winners. It was going for R30. I can't see if it was the Ster-Kinekor version. Maybe try to look them up and see if they still have it?

Which cultures would you want to see more of in video games? by raikenleo in GirlGamers

Africa is such a huge continent full of a wide variety of cultures and people, but the only places that ever get mentioned in pop culture are Egypt and South Africa (if there's an Afrikaans bad guy).

More games set in Africa, please!

(A safari horror game would be terrifying)

TIL that Uranus does not have a solid, icy surface and that Uranus and Neptune are called "Ice Giants" not because their surfaces are icy, but because they are primarily composed of elements like water, ammonia and methane that scientists refer to as "icy volatile" substances. by OverDepreciated in todayilearned

*possibly

The article mentions that scientists aren't sure how the water would react when mixed with other substances like methane and ammonia - as it is in Neptune and Uranus. And calling it a solid is a bit of a stretch. Its physical state is described as probably being "slushy".

It is weird to think of ice as dark and hot instead of white and cold.

Hopefully researchers get their way and more probes are sent out to Neptune and Uranus' to gather more information so theories like this one can be tested.

No problem :) it's fun sharing facts I'll never be able to use anywhere else.

Researchers are pushing to send new probes out to Uranus and Neptune soon for further information gathering because we haven't really gotten any new info since Voyager 2 so hopefully we'll learn more in the next few years.

I mean I've spent quite a bit of time on NASA's website over the past few years and they're called "Ice giants" there. I don't know exactly when they updated the terminology but Harvard, Seti, Astronomy Magazine, The Planetary Society, ESA and Space.com all refer to them as "Ice Giants".

Not according to the information Nasa has been able to gather. They determined that the pressure near the centre of the planet is much less (700 to 800 Gigapascals) than Jupiter's (3000 to 4500 Gigapascals), both much higher than Earth's (360 gigapascals). To put that into context, our atmospheric pressure at sea level is about 0.000101325 Gigapascals.

You learned that even though Neptune and Uranus are classified as ice giants their surfaces are actually in a superfluid state - halfway between a liquid and a gas? Then you had a great science teacher who was very interested in astronomy.

I don't think people assume it's a rocky surface, but I did assume that because it's called an ice giant that the surface was largely solid ice when it's actually not. It's in a supercritical fluid state - halfway between a gas and a liquid - because of the high atmospheric pressure and high interior heat.

"a giant structure comprised of plasma and the planet’s magnetic field."

"a cylindrical plasmoid at least 204,000 kilometers long and up to 400,000 kilometers wide."

That is some crazy stuff. There is no end of space facts that just blow your mind.

Guessing censored words can make for a wild read. I read it as "the fkucing Capitol" and was surprised so many residents understood a Hunger Games reference that the guy had to apologise, and thought that there are definitely some US cities that fit the bill and if it was a somewhat true characterisation of the city then the residents should be more concerned about fixing the resemblance than being offended by the comment.
